  1. Here we go...
  2. Aren't they all :D
  3. I'm glad you confirmed that as a joke or it may have been moved to fight club ;) Well posted :D
  4. Was the old one a similar model and did you fit it yourself? It might be that they disconnected something to fit the old one. On mine I can't take the key out until the timer has gone off - Does that not happen? The timer must be OK as it's just a standard harness so nothing to go wrong there. Maybe you didn't get a good earth on the blue wire? I think that would cause your problem. Try a different location for it? Chris.
  5. Andy, I never knew you were a "global indian" LOL
  6. I've got the FATT DC one if that's the same one. I know they have changed the range recently. It should do as you say and keep the timer running. I can only think it's something to do with an imobiliser or how the old timer had been wired in.

The Zedworld guestbook makes interesting reading! http://www.theguestbook.com/vgbook/551075.gbook Andy, at least you will be known world wide now :D
  8. If it's like mine (Jap import) then the seats just pull up at the front off a couple of clips.
  9. It'll probably cost more than £100 in gaskets and rubber hoses to put it back and it's a pain of a job to do.
  10. Aaahh well that would be telling you cheeky ******* :D
  11. I might have known you'd have the answer! but... how do you get any further than the home page? LOL
  12. I hope mine never looks like that! it's red! :S
  13. Errr that can't happen. Either the pressure is all the way down the pipe or not at all.
  14. I've got one too and had no problems at all. Must be either the wrong mounting kit or a strange design of wheel?
  15. I might just follow you mate. I'm going to use my Z for a giant BBQ at the weekend. T tops off, fill it with charcoal and it's gone! :D

He's been doing some hardcore Z repairs ;) He must have started on the rust ;) :D
  17. LOL So now Dave has lots of info on where it is but still no idea of what the fault is :D
  18. Of course it's not you s***** f****** b****** c***! If you are not f****** careful you'll get this f****** post moved to f****** fight f****** club! :D
  19. Yes, it's behind the drivers seat in the side panel. You lift up/out the rear seat and remove the big panel that curves down the side.
  20. I need new engine mounts and the gearbox mount. Where's the best place? WillyEd spotted some uprated ones on http://www.uniqueautosports.com Anyone got these and what's the delivery time like from Aus? According to that site the Nissan ones over there are around £94 EACH! At least I can look forward to a good laugh today when I call my local Nelson Maindealer for pricing ;)
  21. Well I've seen a true speedo reading of 176 and it was still going. It wasn't mine by the way ;)
  22. Hey, where's mine?! ;)
  23. Right I'm on my way! ;) ...but not in a Z so I may be some time :D
  24. 25psi must be staggering amounts of power (is that when you had one of your rebuilds?!) LOL My Z on a good day (cold dry weather/optimax fuel etc) would easy run round at 17psi without detonation and that was before I fitted the big intercoolers. I think I took it up to 19 at one point for a short run in a moment of madness but I started having overheating problems shortly after that i could never trace and supected a head/gasket problem :( The difference between 14 and 17psi is truly amazing but you must chip the ECU or use a fuel controller and above all listen out for detonation and back off you are in any doubt. I hear some of the boost controllers can compensate for atmospheric pressure but most don't so one day you can run at 17 the next you might not be able to get much more than 14 without detonation so you need to be aware. Does anyone know of a way to make a controller compensate for this? It must be possible without too much work I think. Chris.
