  1. If you plug his SD card into your PDA it should install the software automatically, then you just need to copy all the TomTom related folders off his SD card onto yours.
  2. My boss used to have an 850ci and I loved it - certainly wasn't slow! Always wanted a yellow one, very flash!
  3. I'll have a Doolz kit for sale shortly if anyone is interested? :)
  4. I'm fitting adjustable camber arms all round to get rid of my tyre wear problems. What do you recommend I set things to considering I've got 18x10" wheels with 285 tyres, wide arch kit, Blitz lowered springs, Koni adjustable shocks and whiteline anti-roll bars. Should I just get it adjusted to the stock values or are they a bit conservative for my uprated beast? Oh, and what are the stock values?! :D
  5. Anyone got a write-up/tips anti-roll bar installation and which setting should I go for as the front is adjustable? It looks like there's just 3 bolt holes to choose from on the end of the bar if that's the "adjustable" bit?! LOL What needs to come off to install?
  6. None of these firewalls and antivirus programs give you complete protection, there's always something new coming out that can slip through the net. They all need configuring and prompt you for what to do when they come across suspicious activity and unless you really know what you're doing it's easy to run something you shouldn't. If it's valuable data then get it to an expert quick and they can probably recover it all for you. If you start trying to reinstall Windows etc you might make things worse when there could be a simple fix.
  7. Get blindingly drunk on us mate, will take away the pain I'm sure :duffer: It's amazing how they can reconstruct your leg with pig bone these days  Did they use the same technique to swap your middle leg for a Ginsters sausage roll :x:  Good to have you back in one piece mate :)

The usual problem with the Jap auto boxes is overheating as they don't have an oil cooler. Get one fitted before your repaired box dies again ;)

 Rich, If you need any counselling I'm a member of the Ginsters Support Network
  10. Unless you've got some serious power and are a pro racing driver I doubt you'll notice any difference and it might just make it harder to handle. HICAS was fitted to help out your average driver in high speed cornering and lane changes etc Still not sure on whether to remove mine but it's purely for the amount of power I'm sticking through the back wheels if I do.
  11. Oh well, I use it a lot so might buy the UK ones and keep the not so important out of date european maps I've already got :)
  12. I've got a Linksys Skype phone so I can use it round the house but it's yet another gadget lying about. Wish I'd got a dual one like that now.

Yeah sorry about all the cash, it was meant to come to my account :x: :wack: Hope all went well and it's cheered you up a bit mate :)
  15. Have you got other drives on the standard IDE ports? I had this problem on an Asus A6V board and apparently not all combinations of IDE/SATA work. It's not just Asus boards either it seems to be a problem with many earlier SATA boards. Not sure if there's a BIOS fix but I just removed one of the other drives and it started working.
  16. Just got these 2 steam-roller wheels being sold off cheap at http://www.falkentyres.co.uk as they've got a new range out. Falken FK451 285/35/18 97Y for £93+VAT each :) Seems a bargain to me and been told they are made by same people as Toyo with a very similar tread pattern. Never tried them but on a budget at the mo. Came labeled from Micheldever tyres who always do an excellent deal anyway. http://www.micheldever.co.uk
  17. I always though registered users would be able to download map updates? Does that mean you have to pay every year for a new version?
  18. Good choice but no mesh looks best IMHO Easier to work on through the holes too ;) You need the optional bonnet decoration though :p :D
  19. I just renewed with Houghton in Jan and it was almost the same as last year... :)
  20. Why remove one of the only working parts? :x:
  21. Think I'll try the silicone bends... What diameter are the turbo hard pipes and AFM? Can get my tape measure out and pull the car to bits yet again if nobody knows LOL
  22. Just fly over 'em :D Looking into it myself at the moment but my brother took his boat pilots license to know what he's doing for real. You also need a radio license to do it safely and properly.
  23. OK if it's not possible to download updates anywhere, who has the latest version maps? In tomtom preferences there's a version icon you can click on ;)
