  1. mine is stock and has leather seats with tweed panels ..maybe the US version had that, no idea...but it.s definitely stock set up. :)

  3. not if it´s the vallet key or how ever you call it...the red one..on mine the red one doesn´t open the boot, glove box ot the lockable targa roofs.

  6. hey folks short one on air filters : I know you get this " annoying" goose honk sound from the recirc valves when using a K&N cone type filter , but is it possible that you get a quieter , low toned "goose honk" when using a K&N drop in style filter ? ....kicks in at about 5000-5500 rpm. Maz

  9. at a guess: An original ECU upgraded with a Mines chip plus a Starbo G12 Dual mode Auto Start & Full Auto Turbo Timer *shrugs*
  10. ah, right..it comes on when the sensor is disconnected ...cheers for that edk83...aftermarket temp gauge is ordered and on it´s way, it should arrive anyday. As for checking ECU codes, I´ve read about you guys all doing that m but looks complicated to me and i´ll probably end up short circuiting the thing and doing more damage than good. great confidence in myself there ey :)
  11. hey guys / Girls My stock temp gauge was being erratic..i.e up and down although water level was perfect and water pump etc was changed about 6 months ago..now i know the stock gauge is rubbish plus after a short pause is started working perfectly again. However , during the pause I thought i´d give both temp sensors a little wiggle to check the connections, as I did the secondary ( electric)fan came on and has been on permanently since , anyone got any ideas there? cheers Maz

  15. cut a thread one size larger and insert the appropriate thread ring corresponding to the thread size of the bleed nipple...that might work

  18. Okay...it happened again...took the advice you guys ( and girls ) gave me and it was spot on ! as usual ...thanks for that ...now working nicely with a new starter. Much appreciated :)

  22. cheers for that...next time it happens I´ll try the starter motor thing, At least that way even if it´s not the starter motor i can make some progress through elimination. Just hope it doesn´t happen too soon ..or when I´m stuck in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night. thanks alot Maz :)
  23. left the car standing and got a lift into work...came back two and a half hours later and the car started first go...things that make you go "hmmmmmmmm"
  24. there´s an idea...but wouldn´t i hear at least something from the starter ..even a click ...it´s more like trying to start the car without pushing the clutch..exactly like that...nothing happens...the dash lights stay on (full brightness) that´s about it.
