  1. Mines currently up for sale, SWB TT Manual, not sure what your budget is though? Cheers, James
  2. Hi Everyone, Up for sale is my SWB TT Manual Zed, in the time I've had her she's been well cared for and spent some time with Jimmer to get things running just right. I'm in no immediate hurry to sell, but she needs to be used and I'm not getting the most from her! I have some odds and ends that will be included in the sale, alternative double din head unit (current is Nakamichi), misc parts and trim, diagnostic adaptor etc to be honest it's easier just to call or email for further information! (M) 07920 407715 (E) smithyguy@gmail.com She is rust free, solid and running well. To make her show worthy a respray and some minor body work would be required, but other than than, she's nice and clean! She's had some deletes from previous owners, all I've under taken is a full HICAS delete. Garaged and protected from the elements, on the occasions she's been taken out its been dry and driven with consideration (a few bursts to blow out the cobwebs but otherwise she's had it easy). Any queries just get in touch! Kind regards, James
  3. Hi All, I've fully deleted the HICAS but just wondering from those that have done the same, where have you neatly put the following: Because of the way that the pipes route, it doesn't want to lay flat easily, I'm assuming most people make some sort of bracket to secure it to existing solenoid mount? Any opinions or pictures from others would be appreciated. Cheers James
  4. So when do I get the same treatment considering you're only 10 minutes away? Plus my Zed is currently off the road having some minor TLC! Cheers, James
  5. Just taken the bumper off mine at the rear and now makes me worried what I might have in store! But at the same time, inspired by the excellent work you've done!
  6. Taken the rear bumper off (after a mission) and found the bracket on the drivers side has rotted: Looking for replacement. Cheers, James
  7. Much obliged I'll take plenty of pictures and do a little guide once I figure it out!
  8. I've taken these out but you say there are more? There are about 8 studs running along the back, so they all have to come off? I'll search for the Automodz thread.
  9. I'm having a mare removing the rear bumper, so far I've removed the 6 plastic clips at the bottom of the bumper, tried taking out the 2 internal bolts behind the boot trim and the one in the arch. On both sides this is stuck: I can't see that keeping it in place, although advice on how to get them off would be appreciated! Can anyone provide me a step by step guide please? Cheers James
  10. You sir, make a good point! They shall be removed tomorrow!
  11. It's probably nothing serious, if there is anything I can do to help diagnose/hunt the issue (assuming it actually is of importance and not just a BS browser warning), please do let me know. Kind regards, James
  12. Hi, Thank you for your continued improvement and dedication to the site (and the club), just a heads up, my browser is highlighting insecure resource links (images etc), is this something that needs to be investigated? Cheers James
  13. So by the looks they are useless anyway? I can just unbolt, remove whats left of the brackets and refit cleaned bolts to prevent rust? Cheers James
  14. Hi, I am doing some work on my Z at the moment and have found 2 of these brackets (opposing rails), can someone please tell me what they are for and if I'm ok to remove them. Kind regards, James
  15. Hi, Looking for the following boot trim panel as mine has a broken support: Kind regards, James
  16. Mainly for the tyres (Nearly new on front, a good amount left on the rears), I believe the offset on the fronts is wrong so unless you have slightly flared arches or can adjust the cast they will rub slightly (rears are fine). Might be able to deliver dependent on where work takes me but there will be an additional charge. Kind regards, James
  17. Hi, Looking for 2 x rear license plate assembly with bulbs, got an MOT coming up and the connectors have perished: Kind regards, James
  18. I've had a quick look from underneath and I think I know where it's coming from. To be fair planning on locking out the hicas and deleting the solenoid from the engine bay so will be a good time to get it all done. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  19. They're sporting some very stylish disposable gloves to cover them over [emoji6] Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  20. On there good and tight but the "twist and break" method certainly seems the way forward. They look pretty much as new to be fair so unless I find something drastic, they will be going back on. Thanks for the advice everyone, appreciated. Regards James
  21. I'll give it a go later tonight, I'm noticing no one's said anything about them being warm, so assuming it won't make any difference. Thanks for your advice guys, will update later. Cheers, James Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  22. I feel utterly stupid asking this question, but......... Any tips for removing the 2 air pipes in the picture below. I've got a power steering leak and to get to the culprit I need those off, yet there seems to be no play whatsoever on them. To be fair, they actually feel glued in place, is it just a case of get them warm via a hair dryer (or blast around for 30mins) to make them more pliable? Or is there something basic here I should know?
