no pc expert by a long way but did manage to build my own pc cant remember the specs though was an amd dual core, i went for a raid system 2x 300gig hard drives in a mirror arrangement so that if all data was corrupted on the one drive you always had it copied onto the other hard drive, these were sata drives btw. not sure if this is any help to ya bud!!

gents soz to post this in here, having trouble with my pc, im on xp but when i open a folder full of pics jpeg or bitmap i cannot do a slide show, the opening page does not have the slideshow and save and soom in ect icons under the picture it just looks like i have opend a pic from a web page :headvswal on the left where it says picture tasks i click on slide show and nowt happens :confused: but if i have mpeg files and i click play all they all work, i have checked folder options and jpeg is set to open with windows picture and fax viewer but it never seems to work? any help much appreceated dewi.
