i bought a second hand hicas rack complete, that sorted it out, make sure the replacement rack is a good one though!! easy job to do as well!!

got a call from a friend 2day, he was on the expressway when the oil light came on in his audi a6 1.9tdi, so he pulled over, gave the guys at the national tyres a ring & said that he had his car with them for an oil change a few days ago & now the light is on, so the boss came out to his car & what did they find :rolleyes: a shinny sump plug resting on his undertray :shock: :shock: :shock: yep when he spoke to the boss he said he had the yts lads do the oil change they even forced the bonnet closed as they had left a screwdriver on the landing pannel :shock: he refilled his car with oil & then carried on to drive to yorkshire, so where does he stand now? his engine has run with no oil in what damage has happened there then, what happens in a couple of months if the engine seizes??

well well i got the photos from him 2day & 2 my surprise he has sanded off the paint 2 show a little bit of filler, i had no idea there was a repair like that on these wheels as they were in mint condition, he has delibreatly defaced these wheels ffs & still wants a refund!!!!

OH DEAR MORE TROUBLE WITH THIS PLONKER!! i have sent the wheels to him & straight away he wanted a refund as they were not new!! the advert said that they were used alloys ffs then an email saying they were f***ckd damaged and badly repaired ffs i said no way they were mint when i had them!! then he says they have been repaired with spray paint, i could not see a simgle mark on the wheels, seems he wants his money back any way he can!! i have tried to be fair by saying that if he can get a photo of the so called damaged i will pay to have them repaired do i have to give him a refund?? i have close up images from a 7mp camera that show no damage whatsoever!

i've done this pita pipe with the engine in, i had to take off the aircon pipes though to get to it, it can be done but pacience here is a virtue, oh and plenty of plasters for your knuckles, take the battery out and have a look at the space!! the worse job is the damn 10mm bolt that holds the pipe in place, if you follow the pipe you will find the other end comes out at the top behind the manifold so i just removed that section of pipe.

hi gents just sold some alloys on ebay & took him nearly 2 weeks to pay for them, fair enough, but now he's asking how quick i can send them to him :smash: bit of a cheek but ok, just got an email saying that if there not sent by next week he wants a full refund as he is selling his car, i have been very fair with him waiting for him to pay, only after i threatend him with reporting him did he pay, where do i stand with this do i have to give him a refund or as he has bid to buy it he has to honour his bid thanks

i had something similar fella, wanted to run on my pc screen & tv at the same time!! it tuned out to be the overlay option on my graphics card, it was in the grapgics card software settings.

yep i can assure you that the ecu is socketed & the origional refitted, how do i know this well:- i fitted the se-nissan aggresive chip and it detonated its nuts off and took the engine with it, burned a hole straight through my piston, later i found out that i should have changed the timing so live and learn, so now i have refitted the origional chip back in there so you guys recon that the jwt is the safest bet??

guys :cool: just had the zed back after a full engine rebuild and the tubs i used were turbo technics stage 1 these have adjustable wastegates and are set at 14psi from the manufactures, they also have staggered seals as i have decatted also, question is :smash: am i ok to run at 14psi with the stock ecu?? it is socketed to take a remapped ecu if i need, my mods are se-nissan twin induction kit, decatted, stainless exhaust, stage 1 tubs, stock internals. any help much appreceated.

did my leaking hoses when the engine was in, a real pita though but almost doable LOL!!

gents, has anyone had a go at respraying your own allow wheels, i was wondering if you could recomend me some paint & laquer i have a set of 4 to do :) any help much appreceated
