sure i posted bout this in sept, anyway story goes my friend went to ride a minimoto in a indusrial estate on a quiet sunday afternoon in sept, great fun, :tongue: the cops turn up, they say your not doing any harm so its ok for you to carry on!! great so they leave the week after my friend goes there again but this time has a nasty accident falls of his bike and fractures his skull :cry: calls the ambulance, they turn up with 6 coppers :shock: so they breathalise my friend as he is spewing out blood in the ambulance :shock: anyway 2 weeks after he has to go to the station for a formal interview he thinks nothing of it and tells his story, just today 5months on he gets a letter to go to court for driving with out insurance :cry: is there anyway out of this fellas??

hey there znut your avatar looks like snowdon!! ok yeah post a bit sketchy LOL!! cant watch a dvd or freeview through my computer on my moniter and tv at the same time in dual moniter mode, it shows on moniter but blank on tv or vice versa if you know what i mean LOL!!

right then i think i know why !!! the graphics card can only process one screen at a time, not two multimedia screens at the same time, i would have to spend loads on a matrox graphics card to make it work DOH!! well thats my project throught the window then!!!

just been for a new graphics card now, radeon 9550 http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=62209 yet again i cant get the video or tv to work on tv and the moniter at the same time !! everything else works ok pictures and desktop, even power dvd opening icon but when it plays, one of the icon screens will go blank!! if i use extended desktop and i have powerdvd playing i can move it from the moniter to the tv and it works fine, this is doing my head in !!!

sorry forgot to say its the same with watching a dvd too, cant watch it on both screens at the same time :smash:

hi all, welcome from my new pc that i built, phew what a nightmare i had :rolleyes: so now were up and running, tried the happauge wintv that gets me digital tv on my pc, problem comes when i want it on my tv :smash: right then this is the graphics card, powercolor, powerd by ati radeon 9250 128mb 64bit think it cost bout £30 4 pixel pipelines 2 shader pipeline direct X 9.0 complience up to 256mb ddr memory tv-out dvi-i support, so if i try to watch the freeview on tv and moniter at the same time then one of them will be blank and the picture will be very choppy, but in the graphics card adaptor if i disable one of the screens then it will be fine, but it wont run both together?? :nono: hmm so what could it be? is the graphics card not up to the job? the rest of the spec is amd64 3800 dual core socket 939 300 gb sata in raid mirroring 1 gb memory i part installed xp using a 3200 amd 64 cpu and finished it off using a 3800 dual core 3800, wierd :tongue: so maybe xp is only seeing 1 core, have used cpu-z and has identified the cpu ok. also downloaded the latest bios for my motherboard, i hope this is just a slow graphics card problem that i can simply change for a better one :nana2: hope this make sense guys thanks in adavance dewi.

stella keep her matey, ive just had an accident in mine needs new door, rear wing and front wing, quoted 5k im taking the insurance money and keeping the zed my dad is a panel beater so its not too bad, the front wing and rear arch was seamlessly blended into the side skirt no joins anywhere, bugger to do it again pm me bud and when i start the work on mine i will tell you how the rear wing came off!!

yep silli old me got in a mess again :headvswal built a new comp from scratch, couldent get anything on the moniter, so took it to work and the fella sorted it out was the memmory in wrong slot :x: right then i have changed the cpu from the 3200 amd to the 3800 dual core, also pulled the graphics card out and put it back in, and yep you guessed it nothing on the moniter again :headvswal :headvswal i have reset the cmos battrey even pulled it out, still nothing, the comp fires up and hear the hard drive fire up and when i try to switch off the pc it wont go off which means it has pased a certain stage or somethin ( no laughing you guys :tongue: ) so what can i do now then any suggestions?? thanks guys, dewi.

dont forget your gaskets bud :bow: plennum to intake manifold gasket 2 egr gaskets 1 gasket for the air idle valve at rear of plennum o-rings for balance pipe, p.s use some paint stripper on your balance pipe if it is black it will match your polished plenum then :)

hi there scotty, did mine was'nt to bad :wack: biggest problem you will have is getting the 10mm bolts from the egr pipes luckily i had a set of ratchet spanners to do these :tongue: now would be a good time to do a water bypass, or if not at least have a good look at the water pipes and think if they need changing before you refit the plenum :cool: last thing you want to do is take it off again to fix a little leak :headvswal

just got an email from the fella saying he will swap the 3200 for a 3800 dual core whats the best the amd 4000 or the amd 3800 dual core?? will the dual core also fit the fan im using at the moment to cool the 3200 amd socket 939?
