spoke to the insurance today :bow: they want a quote from the bodyshop, thats gonna be next week some time, i asked them about what if the car is a total loss :cry: as i would only get market value for the zed, i did put a value on the insurance for £6k though, i pointed out that on the market it would be very difficult to find a zed in mint condition like mine and with a kit tottaly unmarked ( was :smash: ) they said they would base it on a similar zed in mint condition and similar spec sounds promising :bow:

how much damage was on your car matey, spoke to my insurance today and if its a total loss they would price it on a similar zed condition and bodykit great, would still keep the zed and take the settlement as you did

well well someone has been reading my mind then :tongue: deffinetly a thought there macca do i have to cut away round the arch for the big wheels to fit, im sure i do!!

:headvswal :headvswal on the way to work just now, lost the rear end and skidded across the road sideways into a wall :cry: god im so gutted words cant express, im sure the zed wasnt meant for me :cry: so much trouble new engine recently new bodykit full restoration the car really is mint!! im worried what the insurance might say, they say they will only pay out the market value of the car thats next to nothing :mad: im insured on classic car with carole nash not sure about my protected no claims!! wrecked my four alloys too on the kerb thats £1500 in itself :cry: what the hell am i gonna do fellas, and yes im still in shock as it only happend 2 hrs ago :(

yep those water hoses at the rear of the engine are a pita mine are leaking now and what a nightmare they are 2 change with the engine in, im building an engine right now, new bearings oil pump tensioner rear engine oil seal all gaskets all hoses tubs injector seals cam seals ect ect!!

know exactly how u feel mate :( very difficult once u get to our age me being 31 all the nice women seem to have kids, have tried once for a year she had a daughter of seven and it didnt work out lots of hastle!! its not just u her and the kid!! its u her the kid her parent your parents the kids father and his parents can get a bit complicated :headvswal thats why im looking into a russian bride :bow:

cheers guys pk you were right with turbo water pipe :bow: and flipping eck greg you were spot on with the pipe :bow: it does seem to be that one leaking all i need now is a voulanteer with small hands anyone :D might take some pics and post an FAQ what do ya think :D

been loosing coolant latey and starting to get worst, its coming from the rear of the engine and does'nt seem to be the 2 hoses going to the heater matrix :confused: does anyone have an idea where it maybee coming from its my tt auto :bow: thanks fellas :duffer:

YEP THANKS FELLAS :bow: DID AS YOU SAID AND CHECKED THE OIL LEVEL WHEN WARM AND FOUND IT TO BE LOW :headvswal SO WILL TOP IT UP AND GIVE IT ANOTHER GO :D THANKS AGAIN

ahh!! so its the overdrive!! seems to work ok in the other gears as when i switch it on or off the revs get higher so what should i be looking at now then it was all clear on the conzult??
