Lol well I do enjoy a bit of dance music in the shower but we won't go there lol, Just looked at the speakers there 4 ohms each so there is no chance of having 4 working together If my calculations are correct 2 speakers per channel in parallel would give 2 ohms not good for the amp, need to go back to the drawing board, can I add a resistor in the circuit?

Have bought 4 bathroom speakers and would love to have them up and running, Question is how do I go about it? I have a surround stereo nearby but i use it for the bedroom in surround sound with 2 main and 2 surround, I have the option to add another set of speakers to the stereo by pressing speakers b, this means that speakers A is the bedroom surround and B can be another pair of speakers anywhere Problem is I really would like 4 in the bathroom is this possible to set up, or am I being silly and should just stick to a pair in the bathroom?

Will this be ok if the dash is left in the sun all day? seen plenty of sparay on glue, but the guy i got the leather from said i need to get a glue that will withstand the heat from being in the sun :wink:

Gents, im re-doing a leather dashboard at the moment, taken the leather off but now need to re apply the leather i was told i need a glue that is heat resistant i.e that will resist the heat of the sun can anyone recomend a good glue to use please thanks

I'd be very caerfull here matey honestly, you get stopped and whoa, no tax, no mot, no insurance and my god bald tyres too, what do you think the policeman will say? what if he says the car is being confiscated and crushed? and maybe even points on your liscence and hefty fine worse still, you have an accident thats not your fault, and the police are called, yet you may get there and back with no trouble at all, its a big risk to take imho, id try t take the wheels there if you could.

I have searched high and low but for the life of me cannot find any sewing thread to use on a leather dashboard the part where it rips out for the airbag deployment, im recovering a leather dash at the moment its quite straight forward only i need to find the correct thread to stich up the airbag pard does any body know what its called or even better where i can get it from? thanks

Guys just bought a car and the phone wasnt working in it, so as you do tear out all the plastic trim and i find this box with gray aerial thats the phone box i though so i pull it out +ve & -ve and the grey aerial thats it easy to pull out so a bit of googling after i find out its a motorola tracker :cursing: there was no mention when i bought the car or payper work in the manuals or service history, question is can i put it back in and find it on some kind of gps program myself? would be very handy

Gents i have a car battery thatwas overcharged, and the acid level inside is low just under the level of the plates, now i have topped up the battery with distilled water but im finding it hard to charge up again, is there a way to revive it somehow, what about the electrolite level should i top it up with battery acid instead? its an expensive battery so i would like to save it somehow thanks in advance

Im going by what Jaimie at zedworld told me, that if you push them right in they should creep out slowly, mine hasnt moved out in 3 days now LOL!! as for movement there is even resistance up and down but they are 21 year old shocks so a bit fresher ones wouldnt go a miss i was thinking

Thanks guys, had a good look at them today, pushed them right down and nope they didnt come back up at all, so i take it there ruined spring lenght good idea i will check the manual what the size should be hopefully they will be in spec, unfortunatley i have a step up to my driveway so i cant fit anything but stock size on mine, would have loved to lower it though but the thought of smashing my strosek bumper everytime i come home puts me off LOL!! i will have a look what meister r has to offer

So i have removed the front shocks from my tt that had really bad tyre wear which I thought to be camber from sagging front springs, Now that I have them out is there a way to check for this? What should the springs measure or should I get new springs to be sure Also how do I bench test the dampers? There is resistance as they go up and down, but once pushed right down the don't come back up again? Is this ok or do i also need to change the dampers?
