Boot issue
This is how I solved it with these 3mm thick rubber disks, won't be as net as getting new rubber feet, but I just fixed it free. And these are the feet which I believe shrink so not a tight fit. (Could be wrong)

Fitting a strut bar
So today I fitted this strut brace (from Mondo's car) and I just need some advice on where stuff should go. Sorry if they are obvious, I am noob. The first thing is that the throttle linkage (I think) in this picture, I had to unscrew to make space for the mount. The second thing is that on the other off side tower there are lots of cables etc. The thick cable in the picture below stops the bonnet from shutting and is connected to a metal pipe. Once again where and how do I move this please. Final thing is that how tight should I make the bolt which connect s the mount to the bar. I did it tight but not overly tight. Where on the towers I did pretty much as tight as I could.

Boot issue
Basically it won't open because there isn't enough force pushing on the latch so it won't click open. Simple fix found was to get some extra rubber spacer like things to put slight pressure on the latch so that when you pull the lever it will open. You can check out jeffs actual words here: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?183015-Boot-latch (To note that moving the catch downwards didn't work for me) I can get some pictures today if you want to see what I did Sent from my Elephone P8000 using Tapatalk
