  1. I don't have a job so i can't really pay for subscription here so i cant PM him, and he hasn't been active since July. I thought about the spray tinting but it usually doesn't give a deep black colour and when the light shines through it can be uneven.
  2. If you don't know what i'm talking about its these lenses:
  3. Does anyone know how SLICKTOP has his impul lenses tinted black like: I have access to a laser cutter so if i could buy tinted acrylic then i could cut that to shape, otherwise i thought about 5% window tints to cover it, or spray it with niteshades but i don't think it would look that good. Any ideas?
  4. Its also not exactly fronting as it is my Mum's main car and she drives it the most, I don't own it.
  5. If i wasnt i would be paying 3.5k for a 1.1l fiat panda...
  6. For the moment i just drive around a small hatch off my parents insurance so its nice and cheap, the quotes i have tried with say a 1.6 mx5 (non specialist) are above 5k. So even with a specialist its not going to be anywhere near affordable, especially as i still have 1.5 years of school left
  7. Additional £12 for you is an additional £500 for me or thereabouts.
  8. They tried to copy the UK foglights... but failed miserably.
  9. RIP me, im never going to get insured :'(
  10. Too low for me. Muscle cars don't look good on the floor.
  11. I'll be keeping the bumper off for the winter while i prep it for paint, to its not a big deal really.
  12. The sides have a lot of space, about 1.5m each side but there is a tool draw on one side. It used to be longer but a wall was put in for insulation, little did they know i had to fit a nearly 5m long car in it! - - - Updated - - - Is your paint pearl white or is it a cream colour? in some of the pictures it looks cream?
  13. "It's not a small garage" they said... After removing the front bumper and lights i managed to JUST fit my z in the garage. Touching at both ends including the door but IT FITS, Finally! - - - Updated - - - Oops, i didnt realise the images were so big...
  14. I know i found it, i unplug it before i slide the catch out.
  15. The Zed better be worth at least 10k, with all the awards it has. hope you make some good money from it!
  16. Thanks Jeff, i know how to get to the latch lol but thanks for the step by step, so basically just move the latch a little lower down.
  17. The lever will not effectively open the boot, when you pull the lever it just wont unlatch unless you have one person lifting the boost and the other pulling the boot. I guessed that the wire was just not taught enough to pull the latch open but i took apart the lach and but a bolt spacer on the wire so it would act tighter, but it still didn't fix it. Has anyone had this issue and if so how to fix? i did have a look at the lever side but i was not in the position to lift up the carpet to just fix one lever. It's ok i can just use the key to open the boot but not ideal.
  18. Jimmer from PowerZed in Bristol, he is on the forum but you can also contact him here: http://www.powerzed.com
