  1. I don't think a show would get enough turnout in ireland to justify the expense imo
  2. I will probably go and see what its like and to meet some fellow Z owners, but i don't know if i will go every year, we'll see
  3. I think a better title would be 'Can we get some more events this year' or 'how can we make the club experience better' Even though you said take no offense, you are still insulting people by saying some events were poor and badly organised there seems to be a lack of effort, even from a very small under manned committee.
  4. That is not a timing belt sticker: "Please note of the platinum electrode sparkplug uage: -Inspection and adjustment of the attention gap is not required - replacement should be carried out every 100,000km"
  5. If you can't copy the IMG link then you can always post the photo bucket link Also that sticker is the current one and has been since before 2004 as that's when my old one was Yours could not be OEM? Idk, put your picture up
  6. The bottom sticker is the one you will likely have In the first gap is the mileage it was replaced at, and then year and month
  7. when you buy an OEM timing belt you get an English one and japanese one. they both have the miles done at the time of replacement and the date options on them. Do you want me to upload a picture of the stickers you get?
  8. You could probably compare it to this car 6.5-7k http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/nissan/300zx/very-rare-nissan-300zx-z32-twin-turbo-manual-52k-miles-mint-con-rust-free-fully-restored/5106163?v=b But that depends on whether people think that ones is overpriced or not. IMO your car is worth about 6k
  9. They may put a scrap title on the car which would make hard to insure and not worth very much.
  10. That's really unfortunate, are you scrapping the car for another or are you just going to replace the wiring loom and fix it?
  11. I see a stillen lip, a front mount and some nice wheels. With the hybrid turbos it must pack a bit!
  12. That looks like red chrome wrap? Or maybe it just the photo effects that make it look like that
  13. Looks very stock? are there any mods at all. If not it is a very clean example.
  14. If I put my mind to it I am sure I can do it myself. I was just trying to find an easy excuse. Stop worrying now [emoji38] its under control Essex is about an hours drive from me depending if north or south and traffic. I will keep terry in mind for the future. Thanks for calling him out lol
  15. Yes the solenoid looks in good condition, I'm just hoping all the electrics work as its worth the good part of £300 I also have all the parts for it so I should just be able to get someone to fit it
  16. I think i will need a hand with the boost system though. Martin did you say that Blitz system didn't work or if it wouldn't boost? I might try to wire it back in again and see if i can program it.
  17. I think I can probably do it meself (with a friend) and I just need to remember all the bolts for all the accessory belts and the tensioning etc etc.
  18. I had quotes for it to be done, one said it wouldn't do it (im guessing because high powered old car) and another wanted above £500 for labour In Japanese if it is written horizontal (as it is here) it is read from left to right like English, but as you say it was probably a lazy mechanic.
  19. I'm okay with it now, i just tried to convince myself that it didn't need changing :(
  20. When you're on a budget as tight as mine and ambitions, I'm afraid every penny counts.
  21. The reason i am probably not that enthusiastic about it is because I've spent ~£50 on it and i am going to see literally 0 change. It should all be worth it though
  22. I know, i know. It was just as Stephan said i didn't think that 5 years would be enough to need a replacement (So i thought) and i just wanted people to agree with me to make me feel better, but i suppose i should just bite the bullet and use everyone's advise and just change it.
  23. You get a japanese and UK sticker when you get the cambelt
  24. Yes that is the one, 62ks and in japanese the first symbol is year, and the second is month. but as i said of course it could be 2004 it was replaced and im a doofus :pinch: I am going to replace it anyway, though it will take more than a couple of hours
