Anyone here run their diesels on vegetable oil?
iv not really looked into it TBH mate, but wouldnt have thought so, Diesels will run on just about anything LOL! would make sure the fuel filter was changed more frequently to get all the old brown bits of chips & batter out tho!!! seriously, would think its more about getting the oil clean & free from moisture that would be the problem if you get it direct from a chippy :wack:

Chip to run twin filters
it really doesnt matter, as if you use 2 AFM's then you are getting half the airflow & half the voltage through each! :) its just better for idle stabilisation

brake pads
Twats! if you only want stock ones then speak to mike at MJP, otherwise as said Smithy for uprated ones :) if not a local motor factors will do them, as long as you get some decent ones like AP they will be as good as OEM anyway!

ooh, a shove-it! class!

Thinking of getting a 300zx.......advice please?
it could be just worn & on its way out. as a clutch wears the pressure plate is forced towards the centre plate more to keep the clamping pressure. this forces the release springs out & gives a larger angle & more travel to release. mine was the same, i fitted an uprated RPS sport clutch & it was a lot lighter than the old worn stock unit!!

Recharging air con
fitted it myself, but then i work in a garage with A/C recharging equipment! :D you could supply the kit to whoever does the regas, its only a case of changing the valves & putting some oil in the system :)

jumping back end
also incorrect rear tracking will cause this. check the side to side play in the hicas arms & joints 1st, then get the suspension alignment checked. after that shocks & springs HTH

i done the whole lot on mine when the water pump went. courtesy nissan do a complete kit with belts, tensioner, idlers, seals VVT springs etc. expensive but worth it IMO.
