  2. hi Simon. interesting reading! im in the trade & run a MB workshop (for my sins! :D) we have been told we have to upgrade from Mobil Super S (10W40) to Mobil Synt S (5W40 i believe) which is a grade higher than the Super S. any info on this oil?? i have always used Super S & have always been happy with it. we also use Mobil 1 - how do you rate that?? cheerz Paul
  3. yeah, you'll be fine on a cat back exhaust
  4. its not so much wear them out. the rear turbo oil seal is more of a "dynamic" seal (cant have rubber seals in the back of a turbo ;)) that rely's on a certain amount of back pressure to stop the oil from seeping past. with stock tubs, after decatting there may not be enough back pressure on already worn turbos to prevent this from happening
  5. Opie oils ARE in our club affiliated links section though. i shall pass this over to Macca to decide whats acceptable for someone in this section

  8. LOL!! its gonna need a wide arch front conversion now!
  9. LOL!! i think some of it is down to black art!! :D trouble is, sometimes what looks good on paper wont perform in the real world. its down to people that actually buy the turbos, fit other aftermarket parts & test them to find out what works best.
  10. yay!! :hyper:  :hyper:

  12. the 99 spec fogs are the same as import pre 99 front fogs IIRC, its only UK cars that dont have the foglamps that need them you will still need the indicators tho :)
  13. I would have thought each turbo's A/R map would be more of a limit than the bearings!
