  9. fitted my suspension parts while my mate decatted one of our salesmens scoobie :nana2: much more fun than working on German poop! :headvswal
  10. last week i fitted my KYB shocks & Eibach springs, gave a nice firm ride with minimal roll after fitting these. yesterday i fitted my front upper arms & lower tension rods & aligned the vehicle. this has totally transformed the handling & i am very pleased with the results :) i done a write up on 4 wheel alignments as there are quite a few questions on what can/cant be done. hope this helps & if anyone would like to see anythin else covered then let me know :) link to FAQ
  11. i got mine from CZP, most of the parts you want are here: clicky clicky even cheaper too
  12. jeez! lighten up bud, it was just a little joke!! :p
  13. they are supposed to be very accurate. in my TT when it was stock i got a best of around 5.8 IIRC after mods i got a best of 4.7 secs, with an average of around 4.8-4.9
  14. ooh, nice bit of back-pedaling there ;) :D
  15. or "ex IT bods who want to try something else" weekly
  16. I dont think it was hugely expensive, ally props have a tendency to twist on high power cars
  17. speak to jock - he may be able to help with a new chip, fitting is easy once the ecu has been socketed
  18. James (jaffa) has fitted a 1 piece carbon fibre prop to his car, speak to him about it. i think he had to order from the states
  19. dunno really - i ordered them along with a whole load of other stuff
  20. noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!! they were nice in their day (IMO) but look well old hat now. can be very pricey to maintain, especially if not well looked after. 90% are real dogs IME. well looked after ones are really hard to come by. if you really want one, then try to find the 560 version - bit more grunt (nothing like a TT zed tho ;))
  21. Strongbow mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :duffer: :duffer: followed by Stella :duffer: or Eddie Hitler's special mix of Meths, Bleach, Vodka, Gin, Whiskey & Drambuie :D
  22. LOL! beat you again John
  23. yeah, there were some that made them from aluminium instead of stainless :x:
  24. yeah, here it is: thats the only part you might get caught out on if the tester isnt aware of it :) its not uncommon to pass the CO test, but fail the HC test with tuned engines with lumpy cams etc that dont idle too well
