  1. if you want to bolt tubs onto your NA engine, then check out this link: http://www.z1motorsports.com/PDFs/NAwTTs(partsprices).pdf bear in mind that unless youre lowering the compression ratio, you will only be able to run very low boost pressures, no point in going bigger than stock. (& i wouldnt wanna do this anyway TBH!!) good luck!
  2. "youre right - he cant really do it!" :D
  3. & the JWT chip is prob the most least aggressive out there!
  4. no, what i was saying was that they will boost into & over the red line. if you look at dyno printouts for big turbos, the power figure will quite often still be rising well past 7000 rpm. & if your fitting bloody great blowers @ 20 odd psi, well thats hardly recommended by the Nissan rule book either is it?!? upping the rev limiter is another way of increasing power (or giving you a better use of your power band)
  5. MACs gonna kick butt at the Pod as long as he doesnt blow up/run out of fuel before the end of the 1/4 mile!!
  6. oh FFS, just anyone v anyone & have some fun. the quickest car will win :nana2:
  7. yeah, keep away from them blue mofo's everybody knows there the fastest ;) :smash:
  8. im after some pod action this year. even got some slicks coming! :)
  9. ooh, i wasnt allowing for that. maybe some watered down ribena
  10. no, maybe strip it, clean it then put it back together!! :D if they have enough money left they may be able to afford some matt black spray paint for that just recon'd look
  11. i would say A, though i think everyone has a good idea who it is then B deffo would not go C ;)
  12. unless youve got big blowers which may very well be producing power well above that.
  13. welcome :) good zeds are going for silly low prices at the mo, around £3-4k will get you a reasonable buy. have a look round our for sale section
  14. 5 minutes??? do you have a cup of tea between sides?!?! more like 30 seconds or so :p
  15. 90 squid??? sounds stupidly low to me!! bloody bearings & gaskets cost that without clutch bands/plates, hubs, valves solenoids etc etc
  16. rev limiter is set at 7200 IIRC, most chips take this up to 7500rpm simon (51x) had his engine rebuilt with a rev limiter at a bonkers 8500 rpm ther was one in the states that i saw that was alledgedly balanced for around 12-13000 rpm i believe (or dont believe! :D)
  17. Just fitted some KYB AGX's to mine, along with some eibach springs. very nice setup :)
  18. buy a TT :D seriously, N/A tuning is obviously more limited than the TT,if you do want to go down this route then i would suggest: induction, exhaust, decat (hi back pressure fans ;)), chip (have a word with Jock) for starters. next could be lightweight flywheel & underdrive pulley. exhaust manifolds are pricey but apparently a useful mod on a NA NOS if you want to get serious!
  19. LOL! you know what i meant :D
  20. UKs had adjustable rears only, automatically controlled with the handbrake trick as a test (which iv just removed ;) :D) US had adjustable all round with a switch inside as well for activating them
