  1. yeah - it is a fookin top mod. make no mistake. as for being cheating - it enhances performance, if you drive like a twat you will still stack the thing. just imagine tho, coming out of a corner/bend - foot flat to the floor, no need to ease off the throttle, turbos are still spooled up as traction cuts in, cuts out & boost is still there!! bit like the full throttle shift option! magic! jock - yup, seen that. looks the mutts but a bit pricy imo for what it does!! (would still have one tho!! :D )
  2. the JUN car war running a pair of KKK tubs & was around 1000bhp IIRC. depends on how much £££ you wanna spend & how much fabrication you want to pay for!

  9. It passed!!! tester said it was the bestist 300ZX he's ever seen ;) also said blue ones are far more likely to pass 1st time - much better than those red ones :D on a more serious note, this is the 1st MOT iv done on a zed since we become computerised (for MOT's - all stations will). & on the test sheet that gets printed out it now states that these cars are NON cat test!
  10. got silly a long time ago. locked

  13. i work at Vikings in Sturry - Workshop foreman at the Merc garage :)
  14. its been discussed many times, general feeling was it would take too much discussion off the board
  15. iv used engine flush prob hundreds, if not thousands of times!! can only remember 1 or 2 cases where it caused a problem, & that was with old shitty engines years ago!! all it does is help dissolve the carbon deposits & laqour inside the engine. when it causes a "problem" is usually where the bores/rings are worn & the carbon sits behind the rings to give a bit more compression. on healthy looked after engines there is not really any risk IMO.
  16. hope you reconsider John, i know debates can get a bit heated on here but its usually just friendly banter taken the wrong way!! :) besides, your project is one of the more interesting ones on here & i look forward to the updates!! :D
  17. Yea - I work in Canterbury bud. dont mind popping over some time for you. but as long as its a garage with a standard size door it will just about fit with the mirrors out :) ps - would have to be coffee, i hate tea :D
