  1. See - I corrected it for you :D
  2. as mentioned theres a good chance it just needs a regas - heres some info: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?33691-Air-Con-regas R12 has been illegal for some years now - it is also illegal for anyone to regas any car unless they have the government F-gas training certificate (which I have BTW :smartass: )
  3. to be honest - we did LOL! I have found a much better deal to a 5* all inclusive hotel in Turkey however & looks a lot nicer too! we wernt going to have another holiday this year so it has to be a cheapie or I wont bother as I already have a few others booked at the moment!! :D
  4. Been looking at Turkey for a late sun holiday - any one been around October time? Looking at reports on the good old tinterweb it looks like it can vary quite a bit. Anyone actually been around this time of year?! :balloon:
  5. LOL! The passenger side I have done myself - the drivers seat is still waiting to be done
  6. Thanks bud :) wheels are Wheel Mania Jade R finished in sparkle silver
  7. they will only be worth more if anyone actually wants one!!
  8. LOL! yea, ok - but you get the idea!! :D
  9. "a Holley carb" why have one when you can have two?! :D
  10. Nice & clean bud :) let me know if you ever need anything
  11. LOL! love the paint bucket with rollers!! what paint did you use?! Houshold gloss?!
  12. Datascan is a much cheaper option than Conzult - I have this & it is very good for the cost: http://www.nissandatascan.com/ you still need a cable so you can upgrade to the full version if you do buy that cable & interface :)
  13. first one is just a basic schematic of the engine from the workshop manual:
  14. just get a bucket of water & some wet & dry paper and flat it down! Then go over with some panel wipe. it will take off all the grime & allow the paint to adhere better
  15. A Mitsubushi engine?! unless someone has been very brave/stupid with an engine conversion I would guess at your year you should have the Mercedes M271 engine, similar to this one:
  16. OK - without plugging your car in I have simulated a car - VIN starting 203042, check if this is your VIN after the WDB or WDC bit engine codes: 200B - 2 options for this, there should be a code after this (not all scan tools will read it) but it relates to the intake or exhaust cam sensor 200F - injector cyl 1 201D - Cat Efficiency low 2036 - Speedtronic electronic accelerator Emergency Running 203B - ECU EEPROM fault Some unusual codes there & would suspect it all points back to the last code indicating a duff ECU - might be worth seeing if the ECU can be updated on Mercedes STAR diagnostic tool first. Transmission: 2502 - transmission slipping 220A - implausible signal between the 2 internal gearbox speed sensors the 2 are probably related & it is either a bad electrical plate that houses the 2 speed sensors (a common problem) or the transmission really is slipping - check the oil level first (again you need a workshop dipstick) & correct if required. Check for oil leaks especially at the gearbox electrical connector seals let me know if you need anything else :)
  17. a doddle of a job (unless its a W211 model then they are a bit of a pain LOL)!! We fit bloody hundreds of springs!! :D
  18. Mercedes done away with dipsticks on many models - we have a workshop dipstick for all models with a scale on it to read of for specific models. The tube is for this. Some dealer use syphons but I hate them so we drain the sump the good old fashioned way! There will be a sump bung - some are in front while others are behind the front crossmember :)
  19. good luck with yours bud - it seems pot luck if you get a decent engineer who knows what he is doing or a fitter that just does the bare minimum!!
  20. yes mate - the tech that come out was really good TBH, unlike the last one we had that just said you couldnt do anything about it. He rewired it internally & set one of the extension sockets as the main socket back behind the TV. Well impressed as I thought they would probably just say they couldnt do it! :)
