oh one other thing it has an apexi super afc with five buttons anyone shed any light on how to use this gadget correctly ???

maybe the gauge is iffy then its an apexi power gauge and has a control unit in front of the ecu also the ecu has a sticker on it saying geniuine REMANAFACTURED ecu what does it mean REMANAFACTURED also it seems like the evc is pulling the car back as i get close to the redline i can here the overboost warning noise at about 5500rpm and it pulls it back as i said its set to 0.9 kg/cm2 iits got a few different settings/modes and i dont really know how to set it up if anyone could shed light on any of these points i would be gratefull .

jsut taken my new zed out for a thrash it has a apexi power gauge in ps it reads about 450 ps at 0.9kg/cm2 of boost what is this in bhp it feels really quick though faster than my last zed which was 350bhp.

does anyone know of a rolling road company in kent that will tune my zed ???

anyway know how to set up a super afc when running 14 psi boost it has five buttons on it that change from green to red as the revs go up i dont want to run the engine short of fuel and blow it up so please advise .

the reason why i ask is because ive just bought another zed the guy had bought it from japan and it had a greedy fmic on it . the guy new nothing about the car really he didnt even know if there was a boost controller . when i took it out for a spin i could tell the oost was up the apexi gauge wasnt reading it so i assume it is knackered but it was much faster than stock . after a look about i found the boost controller in the glove box along with another apexi device which im not sure what it is it had 4 or 5 round buttons on it saying -30to + 30 anyone have an idea what it is the car felt faster than my previous zed which running 14 psi thats why im asking im trying to work out why it felt considerably faster then my past zed .

how much extra bhp will an uprated front mount intercooler give you at 14 psi ???

i think this is my problem mate i think there is something dodgy going on in there, im gonna buy another zed and break this one up i think

yeah done a leak down test some loss but nothing more than expected same thing happens as dafox says at high revs the dipstick comes out and pissis oil everywhere whats goin on ?????

oil dipstick still coming out , ive changed the pcv,s done a comp test which is good but im still getting blow back through the dipstick the engine also started makig a noise kind of tapping noise but its kind of squeaky as well any ideas ?????????

hey guys what causes the dipstick to come out on its own ?? the car has been running sh1t since i raced my mate on his bike i thought ity might be a coilpack or plug cos its been slightly missing and running generally crappy like stalling on its own and idleing poorly but had a look under the bonnet today and the dipstick had come out and pissed oil everywhere this indicates theres a problem something gotta pushed it out i.e compression leak any advice on this ?????

it was an 04 plate not a gt3 just 911 turbo ???

had a race with an 04 plate 911 turbo my zed kept up all the way as far as i know my car has just got an evc an been chipped running 14 psi of boost so what kind of power has the 911 turbo got then ???? how did my car keep up ??? what kind of power would a good zed produce at 14 psi ??? do think something else has been done cos i know that 911 turbo is quick , the geezer had the right hump though cos he couldnt lose me ha! ha!

Traction Control ???? dont mean to offend anyone but just to let you know the 300zx is a drivers car !!! if you dont want the arse end stepping out dont buy one of these cars because thats what they do its suppossed to be fun !! if you guys dont want the arse stepping out trade it in for a skyline forget rltc my opinion is its a waste of money get some good rubber learn to drive and enjoy the car !!!

yeah would like to get in touch mate so we can have an in depth discussion about this an other things would be good to meet another zed owner in kent , obviously views are varied for 15-20 grand i could get alot more than 400bhp ,ryan at z-tech offered me 500bhp for 10 grand god knows what he could do for 15or 20 ,if your out there ryan or greg advice would be appreciated on this matter .

its the internals that cost the dosh at the moment the car has been chipped,air filter hks evc and an earthing kit from there what kind of money am i looking at including the rebuild to achieve 400bhp ??

so i dont need a rebuild for 400bhp then ??? What kind of money im i looking at to get it there also whats the max boost you can run on standard internals ???
