I had to bite my lip
the mk3 Granada is a big soft barge. the Euro equivalent of a Lincoln Town Car. I'd bring the Zed in quietly one day and offer him a race letting him think you're in your scooter.

Bridgestone G'Grid 245/45 VR tyres
someone correct me but I don't think Jap spec rubber is road legal in the EU.

No Nissan 300ZX.
wouldn't mind one of those either. otherwise I'd get another AMG C36 or a C43 and sell parts of my anatomy to fund a V8 5.5l conversion. :D

1st day in your zed
with my NA, I drove back from Newcastle in a glorious autumn day with the sun shining. Blatting down the A1 was fantastic. with my TT, I did about 500miles on the first day I got it. Made great use of the turbos that day :D Didn't get home till 4am the following day!

Air Con Removal - Whos missed it?
unless I was building a pure track car or aiming for ultimate performance I would never take out the AC on any car that had it in. It helps keep you cool in the summer and aids demisting in the winter months.

Wheel spacers
anyone put spacers on the front with standard rims to bulk them out a bit? I've been trying to get a pair of UK rears to put on the front. This might be an easier way. Or else I should just get a set of 18"s LOL

fully comp with both of mine. comes to about £1400 total for both. It'd only be a couple hundred less if I went TPFT.

removing roof console between T-bar
my overhead roof fan for the aircon sensor has started squealing. How do you remove the console that it's in? Do you just yank it off, so to speak?

help the newbie!
logbook would state when car was manufactured and 1st registered. If they very different then it's most likely an import. Square rear licence plate and no foglights on rear bumper also means UK spec although this could have been swapped over obvously. You could also check the VIN no with Nissan. I found insurance to be cheaper when I moved from an import NA car to a UK TT. Comprehensive list of differences here http://www.300zx.org.uk/mod_comp_0.htm

help the newbie!
fuel consumption can be scary on a turbo. the best I've had on a full 72ltr tankful (86.9p/l super) is 310 miles where the needle was buried deep in the red. This was done on mostly motorway driving. Around town, anything approaching 240miles is a bonus. as for insurance, I'd have thought a turbo zed would have a higher insurance groupling than an FTO. oh yeah, blue is the best colour

Build a model M3 GTR Nitro car
I'm a hoooge RC fan but the mag is a rip off as a lot of the radio has to be purchased seperately. Couple of toys that I have My Schumacher nitro 1/6th scale Lotus Elise. chassis is basically an alloy plank with an engine strapped to it. Geared more for acceleration at the mo, top speed is in the 60mph region. My modded electric Scooby with carbon chassis and alloy supsension parts, tops out around 45-50mph at the mo RC cars are great fun but they cost a fortune to run, almost a much as a Zed!

UK Lights
so Nissan only has to make 1 bumper to cover all markets and regs. Looks like yours has been modified sometime in its life.
