mines a series2 UK car and it has the standard 3 spoke wheel.

the 1/24 fujimi kits are very good quality. also have a search for tamiya kits. I've got one of these bodyshells waiting to be painted when I get the time to do it.

I can get Falken 451's for £55 plus fitting or Toyo S's for £64 plus fitting. I'd ideally want the boots to last for 15k plus. Do Zed front tyres wear quicker at the front? I'd have thought as a powerful rear wheel drive car, the rears would run out much faster? That's what I find in my other car.

my current rears are Toyo Rs and after 6k miles they've only worn down a couple of millimetres which surprises me as they are known to wear fast. Not sure whether to put Toyos on the front too or Falkens as the Bridgestones haven't lasted that well and front end steering feel seems a little vague to me.

Can anyone who has had Falken tyres on theirs Zeds tell me what the wear rate is like on them? My fronts are due for replacement in a couple thousand miles and am considering Falkens as replacements to the Bridgestones I have on at the mo.

I've seen a silver one with, I think, Modena wheels on and single exit oval exhausts a couple of times. Always been very dirty though but not chavved up, like mine lol.

I think unless you have a highly tuned and modded engine if would be ok if you alternated every 2 or 3 tankfuls with optimax. Alternatively, you could get the ECU mapped for 95ron

optimax is 98ron, normal UK super unleaded is 97ron. remember the Zed takes 72litres to fill up! got a shock the first time I filled one up. Sainsburys do a super unleaded which is usually only a couple pence more than their standard unleaded.

stock wheels and suspension, no problems with speed bumps on mine. Have more of an issue with the slope of my drive, have to reverse at an angle or else it catches the heat sheild on the exhaust.

is there any difference between an import and UK spec car on the main rear light panels?

if you're gonna look at the Merc check for rust around the boot and the sills, even if its a 2yr old car. If it's post 99, make sure it's got dealer service history or the lifetime Mobilo life warranty is void.

cheers Rich I realised the nose panel was indented for the badge on a UK car, wasn't sure if a JDM badge would be big enough to cover it.

does anyone know if the 'Z' badge between the headlights on an import is the same size as the 'Nissan' on a UK car? some git has nicked mine and I fancy replacing it with a 'Z' rather than the Nissan burger.
