for extra geek points- it was powered by a 170bhp 2.5l straight six from the 3 series and was a 2 seater convertible which cost circa £35k. Released around the same time as the Z32 was. Only ever came in left hand drive. One of the cars I'd like to own.

Chunk, it's a BMW Z1 based on a mk 1 3 series floor plan and if I'm not mistaken the first to use the Z rear axle arrangement. The doors are super trick and slide into the sills.

don't like the look of Skyline/G35. Looks bit too much like a stretched Lexus SC430.

I got one off Ebay a couple of weeks back too. Looks very nice but the piece is smaller than it seems. Shame it's not a 2+2 though.
