  1. Lol.Naw, the whole idea was to suggest my new bodykit turned the Zed into my Camaro. What a fail. I hate computers. Need to finish the Zed and get started on the beast. Thanks for sorting out the pics. Still cant do it.
  2. http://s1068.photobucket.com/user/alicowan/media/camaro%20001_zpssr7syvgs.jpg.html?filters[user]=142795249&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=0 Try again!!!
  3. Fitted a bodykit to the Zed today!!
  4. Hi Jeff, just had another look and there are signs of leakage between the master and servo so for safetys sake I'll change the seals in the cylinder. Had a look at the links and as usual, very helpful. Thank you.
  5. Auto Jeff. Master cylinder was never empty. Was careful with that to make bleeding easier. Remove 2 x 12mm nuts and the brake lines. Will the master come right out? How is the master piston connected to the servo?
  6. Well I got my replacement door lock bit from Andy. Broken plastic bit now replaced with shiny metal bit. Happy days. So if my wheel falls off, suspension breaks or engine goes tits up - at least i can lock the car and walk away. Lol
  7. Ok, had the car on axle stands for a couple of months. Brakes all stripped, cleaned etc and reassembled. Ready to bleed brakes so topped up master cylinder. No1 son didn't appear so left overnight. Following morning theres a puddle of brake fluid on floor directly below Master cylinder. Never had a problem with the brakes before, only worked on the calipers and the flexis were sealed to prevent excessive fluid loss. No work was done on the master cylinder . Puzzled as to why it's decided to drop fluid. Any ideas??
  8. Valued at £3.5K.
  9. Standard TT Auto, £117 comp from FJ. Best price by far after shopping around. Would 350Z wheels and aftermarket exhaust count as modifications requiring to be declared??
  10. Wanted thread does work. Just done one for wee plastic bit a couple of days ago.
  11. Looking for the wee plastic bit that connects the lock barrel on the drivers door to the rod.Can anyone help?
  12. Jeff - as usual you have proved that this is the No 1 site for 300's. Just checked the PCB and seen the problem exactly as you described. Thank you.
  13. Drivers side window not working. Hot wired the motor and that's working fine, up and down. Switch is activating relay. Opened up relay and contacts are clean but when switched, there is no power going to the motor, either up or down. Any ideas?
  14. Where about in Fife are you? (Sorry, don't recognise the car!)
  15. Fear not Bigmincey - if we leave the EU, wee Sturgeon will call a referendum and try to get us back in and keep the bent bananas out.
  16. What's involved in servicing an auto box? Is there anything worth doing other than changing the transmission fluid?
  17. If we come out of the EU we'd save the £17Bn annual payment. The government could then scrap road tax and fix all the potholes. Sorted.
  18. Good to put names to faces. Absolutely astounding cars on show. Really made me focus on the future. 1. Get a divorce. 2. spend more on the Zed. 3. Make sure the wife doesn't read this post. Great show guys. Well done.
  19. Cheers eggs, just sourced them on the website. Perfect. What to do with the lamda sensors though? Will these downpipes have a port for screwing them in to?
  20. You could always delete the decat downpipes and sell them to me LOL. I'm based near Slamannan
  21. Hi guys Just stripped the exhaust system from 1991 TT Auto. Some butchers have been at it at some point. The downpipes are welded to the cats. Middle and rear sections are japspeed. I'd like to decat as it's a 1991 and wont affect emissions ruling. My query is which downpipes to get. Should they have entry ports for lamda sensors? I am going to strip out the AIV setup so no issue with that stuff. Looking around, the Japspeed downpipes look good but state they are suitable only for manual. Can anyone recommend a supplier? Don't need the bit that fits on to the turbos, only the 2 pipes to run from the turbo downpipe to the centre section. Help much appreciated or if anyone has a set for sale maybe?
  22. Any of you guys showing at the NEC classic car show next month?
  23. Fortunately know more about ZX than IT. How do you send a private message to someone?
  24. Somehow I just knew I would get the best answers on here. Going for K&N panel filters as direct replacements. Thanks once again for the great advice guys.
  25. Still the original Jap details on them and they are filthy. Car was laid up for about 8 years so possible...
