  1. What started off as a heater hose replacement has ended up with a few other bits getting looked at.Took the air filters out. Dont think they have been out before. Car has done 45k genuine. Worth replacing with aftermarket or are straight replacements just as good? 91 TT auto.
  2. found japspeed rad hoses in blue for £49 for the pair. much cheaper than elsewhere. Anyone had any problems with japspeed stuff?
  3. Thanks eggs.............went to mjp, spoke to mike. very helpful. £23 for each of the wee hoses. ordered on friday, delivered on saturday. great service.
  4. Thanks guys. Any benefit using silicone other than colour?
  5. Hi guys, while since I've been on, finally got the Z into the new workshop. Looking for 2 replacement heater hoses (engine to bulkhead). Auto TT 1991. Everything is still original and hoses look perished elsewhere so considering fullset of water pipes. Anyone advise on best place to purchase? Cheers Ali
  6. Hi, Thanks for the reply. Had a look at the link, seems simple enough. Will give the connectors a look over at the weekend.
  7. Hi Guys , after a hard drive, engine cut out at junction, started easy enough, then once home, tickover went erratic, dropping to about 500rpm then revving to about 1200 rpm then down again. 300 TT auto, 1991 standard everything
  8. Hi, another mad Scot. We'll be taking over here as well as Westminster LOL.I'm in Slamannan, so not far from you. TT auto, 1991 on the road, Just fitted 350z wheels and working on back panel and new spoiler. Also have 1979 chevy camaro z28, 5.7 v8. Just sold gsx1100f. Wife drives a converted hearse. Sounds like the Scots collect the wierdest stuff.
  9. Well thats the wheels on and what a difference. Old ones looked like AMG alloys. Horrible. New ones are so much smarter. Doing back panel and spoiler just now so pics in a few days. Have to clean up the calipers now though!
  10. Thanks for the responses guys. Settled for the 17's. Wheels were in good nick and the tyres had plenty life in them. Got them for £150. Seemed OK. Stephen, whats a speedometer? lol Time to exit to the workshop.
  11. Thanks Ian. It was mainly the 245's on the rear for clearance I was concerned about. Also got the chance of 17's with 225 x 50 tyres, probably be a comfier ride.
  12. 225 x 45 x 18 front, 245 x 45 x 18 rear from 350z. Will they fit straight on to 1991 TT LWB?
  13. Done a bit of digging on the car history. Same owner for 12 years since import in 2001, no mot records for 4 years then next owner for 1 year. mileage according to mot cert is genuine and in Km, 74000km. Backed up by drivers tweed seat with NO wear. Motor is sweet as a nut. Think I got a good one. How common is HICAS on these motors?
  14. Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome on here. Good community it would seem. Car is currently burning rubber somewhere in Falkirk as No 1 son declares "it's definately faster than my Scooby" As long as he brings it home in the same shape as he found it. Probably be a major change on the fuel guage position lol
  15. Hi Noz Would be interested in swapping for original alloys or BBS lookalikes.
  16. Hi Gio Gives me a total of 8.7 litres of gas guzzling joy. Also have shares in BP. If you know anyone who likes the rear lights, I will happily swap.
  17. Getting the hang of this now. Easier changing the nearside turbo than understanding computerspeak lol
  18. Don't know if this is gonna work but try anyway
  19. ok so whats a url?
  20. About 25 mins normal but about 15 in the Zed lol
  21. Located near Slamannan.
  22. Would love to post pics but you'd laugh at the wheels. And the skyline lookalike lights. If you want to look like a skyline, buy a skyline.
  23. Hi Guys Just got my 4th Z32. Low miles TT auto. Previous owner has fitted horrible wheels and changed the back lights for skyline lookalikes. Want to go back to originals so if anyone can help with a set of lights or wheels, I'd be grateful. Contact is 07858597783.Name is Ali.
