Oh you can definately drift the Z, But the one simple reason people don't use them is the cost. When drifting the engine is kept running at High Revs generating a lot of heat, not a problem when you get cool air being forced in driving in a straight line, but drifting is very short circuit and would require a Lot of money being invested in aftermarket cooling modifications, and thats before you've spent on upping the basic set-up to get to dirift spec. The stock gearbox also may not like it for long... The 200sx's (whatever model you prefer) are more simple straight lined engines which are simple to work on, cheaper for parts and even with just the BPU are great fun to learn in and work your way into the sport. But yes The Z has the looks ;)

S13 or S14/15...If he has the 13 he will possibly be wanting your Hubs too? But providing they are in good condition, guess you'd be looking at (for just the Disc's,Pads/calipers & Cylinder) an offer of around £150, maybe worth checking the 200 OC Forum/E-bay to see what they are fetching... :confused: :)

Possibly an R33 GTS-T Skyline, nice performance, easier to work on being a straight 6, parts are also easy to get hold of, great drivers car and quite practical too.. :confused: :D :)

Mate, you know what I think about this... But seriously, you've already put in a bit on the Z, but go with what you really feel will give you the most satisfaction day in day out. :D If you feel strongly about the ZX, then stick with it because thats what will get you through those days when somethings needs doing...(Although a deep wallet can always aid in that department too LOL)

Yeh, going for the full rebuild now, fed up with farting about with the other lump, everytime something was supposedly going to plan, up comes another problem. Had to do some real soul-searching in the last few weeks, but I just love the Z sooooooooooooo much :) Nick's a great guy, you'll soon get to know people up there, but thats why I like 'TR', You become like a member of a huge family. And its nice when from time to time you get the oppotunity to chat to people with other cars too! Useful as testers before you commit to buying yourself LOL. Am expecting to see a REAL beast of a skyline turn up either Sat/next Weds, after the encounter with the R34GTR Last night, This 'other' Skyline really is AWESOME :) Though certainly not as beautiful as the Nismo one.

Nice to meet you............. See We're an OK bunch really....Great to see new faces. Was quite an interesting meet, Loads Of People I've never met before either, Good chatting to the Guy with the R34GTR (514WHP) And he'd done ALL that engine work himself, he gave us his card and explained he's also had alot of experiance with the ZX.

Have seriously had same thoughts recently to the point of possibly going out and just going straight 6 Skyline, But the ZX was always a car I felt passionately about, and the whole point was because of its rarety and possibilities...Yes along with that comes the problems, This weekend will see the Engine out for the second time in a month. :( But I only had to explore the alternative cars, see that not much really compares in terms of looks and performance for the money... Keep going, Good things come to those who wait :D ;)
