as title my mushroom filter is falling to bits so in need of any kind of decent cone filter if anyone has anything

need a manual box asap, syncros must be good and no problem with the box , or if u have a spares box cheap let me know as I may be able to use bits on it to sort my box out cheers

please note the turbos and dps wont be avaliable for 2 weeks as they are still on the car currently, -hybrid jwt500 spec turbos, dynoed at 457bhp,453lbft tourque, i brought them as fresh refurbs (cost £1250 for the pair) they have covered 2000 miles(1000 miles of that was on very low boost as was running in new engine) they have only been on the car since april, no problems at all with them just changing to 5 bolts is reason for sale want £700 -japspeed "2.5" divorced dps and testpipes brought in april for £200 want £130 or £800 with the turbos -rear tailgate blind £20 -balance bar £15 -series 1 ptu £10

as title brand new tailored so not universal i have a picture off them fitted aswell if needed thanks

injectors standard off a turbo £15 each or 6 for £60,spacers £50 balance bars 1 is n/a other is turbo perfect for painting £12.50 each

silver bonnet great condition no rust/damage/dents £20 collected t-tops very good condition hardly a mark and no damage to glass £35 can post for extra oem brand new front tt wheel bearing £30 can post matt black engine cover £10 4xstandard boost top hoses £15 -4 blue silicone boost hoses good condition £35(avaliable in 2 weeks)

Bet a engine rebuild won't be cheap :( bugger bugger Sorry to here that mate I was stung like u with bad compression on a few cylinders after buying my zed (oh and the turbos went as well and a bad gearbox hopefully that don't happen to you ) all In for a good rebuild your looking at 3.5k in parts and labour and machining(a lil bit more if u go forged) would be what your looking at but if u go down that route your properly get the power bug and want to get upgraded turbos and so on. But as said by another member will be a lot cheaper dropping in a second hand engine but a good one is hard to find hence why most off us go down the rebuild route

best thing to do is ask him to send you a video off the engine running from cold so you can listen but sounds like this one probably wants a rebuild

from what I can see it needs a respray but its priced well if it runs good and has no rust problems ect not to put you off getting one but any zed between the 1500-3000k mark your be having to spend money on something at some point I speak from experience I payed 2k for mine shell was good everything else had gone wrong in 6 months total spend is 6k and still got labour on the engine build to gio lol so best to have alot off money saved up in case u have any problems there are a few rebuilt zeds that come up gor sale every so often but your talking around 5-6k mark

Selling my 5 bolt downpipe or preferably will swap it for a stainless 4 bolt I do have the 2 1/2 inch testpipes aswell but was planning on keeping them but will sell if I get a good enough offer as its £170 new to buy 4 bolt downpipe and testpipe but cant see anywhere to get just the downpipe cheap pics on request cheers

hi all as title any diffence as im powder coating a 1993 plenum to go on my my 1990 was goiing to do the balance bar aswell but have noticed my balance bar is different to the 1993(has an extra pipe coming out off it) one and obviously dont want to spray the plenum and it wont go on my engine cheers

Cant realy put it off as the engines getting rebuilt (forged) and as Ive already spent 5k getting the main bits together just trying to save a bit off money where I can. Theres no way I can budget £600 odd quid for a full oem kit if it was just needing the cambelt and water pump I would get them but not having any history with the car means ive got to get everything including the tentioner which oem ones are like £200odd quid if I wasnt pushed for time I would wait to save enough money but mrs has given me a deadline to have it finished by april as my daughters due april 3rd so no more working/spending on cars for the summer and that means I wont have it on the road for the summer and I'll be gutted

did u have your foot to the floor when it happened? mine did this turned out boost pipe came off
