  1. Sorry picture no 4 shows connection from oil sender, showing the black wire not connected again is this correct?
  2. and some more, oh and any body know if the last 3 pictures are as it should be, found new copper pipe from clutch slave cylinder to master cylinder and the old ones just cut insitu and what is the pipe from the block going to the inner wing??. If its not important i will remove:yes:
  3. Well been investigating oil leaks today, and must say i am not 100% sure where it is coming from! So heres some pictures to see if any body got any thoughts on it.

  5. Looks like i need a new clutch ex rps max street clutch not very well, so what do you guys recomend? As you know car is running big bhp, but on the other hand i am not using it as an everyday car as people who know me already know:tt2: my week end toy. Did think of just replacing friction plate like for like as clutch plate has loads of meet left on it. ACT 6 puk has been mentioned again any thoughts?? Dave

  8. :cursing:removed clutch to get a better picture and unbeknown to me once you release pressure when undoing bolts the fingers go back to normal due to having no pressure behind them:crying:

Does not slip or vibrate, but has no pedal travel! bites less than an inch off carpet and is near impossible to get into 1st or reverse Good point Stu forgot that:thumbup: The car has had issues with the pedal because there has been a nut welded onto end of rod to make up more travel i guess How do i get bigger pics!!!

  12. Sorry to be a bit ignorant but will a new clutch kit work ok with the flywheel and/or will it need to be balanced to??
  13. RPS billet fly wheel??? I have an rps max street clutch at the moment which is knackered and do not really want to buy a new fly wheel:thumbdown:
  14. Thanks Stu can you tell me if the clutch is matched to flywheel!! i can see clutch cover been balanced, and speaking to mike feeney he asked me to ask if it was matched. I hope not new clutch and fly will set me back nearly 1k:crying::crying:
  15. Yep both of these are leaking, is it worth using jubilee clips rather than the oe clips?

Various areas mate, hoses mainly but also front crank shaft oil seal which has got onto pulleys and launched itself up to the top of engine making my inital thoughts it was from the plenum:crying: But all good i guess.....will clean engine and bay over the weekend whilst waiting for the parts to arrive and hopefully sort the lot:thumbup:
  17. Thanks again Dave....i have ditched aircon compressor and was worried about how it would effect the belts.

  22. Clutch is knackered mate got to source a new one:no: One thing you may be able to help me on i need a hose but to be honest wouldn't no how to describe it is there a diagram about with all the hoses
