  1. Gary That is a clean exhaust. Looks like my old HKS Super Dragger on my R32 GTR. Nice
  2. My exhaust is Fujitsubo and I don't think it's that. - - - Updated - - - My exhaust is Fujitsubo and I don't think it's that.
  3. Hey. Nice zed and wheels. Exhaust is Fujitsubo by the looks of it but I am new to Zeds so someone more experienced can comment. I am not far from Wigan either. Ta
  4. Nissan R32 GTR. American market opens for them now and prices are increasing. I am tempted to sell the 300zx and buy one of these and sit on it for 3/4 years.
  5. John Fuggles owns a white R33 GTR. Well he used too. Hmm was it his?
  6. Got my bumper painted. No more stone chips.
  7. My car has these on it. I thought they were standard.
  8. Oh dear, your gonna hate my 1.2 Nova SR then
  9. Funkysi seems to have a phobia of atmospheric dump valves.
  10. Atmosphere bovs only cause problems on cars with air flow meters (afms). This is because measured air is being dumped to atmosphere instead of ran through the system. This can cause rich mixture and lumpy idle when lifting off throttle. I would only run atmospheric bovs on cars without afms. I think they sound ok, a bit boy racer but not offensive.
  11. What do you want to wire in, a volt gauge? If you want to see if a certain part is getting 12v you will need to test across the said part at both Pos & Neg terminals.
  12. Is it a chassis leg end? If so it's not that bad. Just jig pull out and KDS (tracking) and it will be better. Don't worry about it too much, it can be sorted I am sure.
  13. Good project. Keep the photos coming :-)
  14. Pics please Wales has some great roads.
  15. I found that out today dropping it off at the paint shop. 10 mpg on a roundabout........eek. mind you it did come across with Nankangs. Need some SE03's. ;)
  16. There were some Z32 there. One had a nice sound system in the boot. There was a fairly standard looking Pearl white which looked nice. Not sure whose cars they are/were. Thanks
  17. 0.9bar of boost. Amazing!!!!!! These things are fast.
  18. Do you guys use external wastegates? They would increase exhaust flow as internal wastegates are quite restrictive in comparison. Using an external wastegate which vents to atmosphere (screamer pipe) would also increase flow in the exhaust. BTW I am not technical just thinking of experience. Cheers
  19. That's why sometimes you get boost spikes on cold days. Cooler air is more dense so your car intakes are increased. This is how I blew a turbo on one of my old cars.
  20. Hey. Get a project thread started.
  21. Hi all Can anyone recommend a Coilover repair shop? Car has Buddy Club Racing adjustable Coilovers on and one is non existent. I just have not got the funds to replace the full set and they are now obsolete so can't replace the one. Thanks Thanks
  22. Ooopsy, I think that would have sounded very good.
  23. Anyone going? I am but not in the Z, it's at RB Motorsports. - - - Updated - - - Forgot to mention it's on this Sunday 17th.
  24. I think that's a matter of opinion. My old MR2 was incredibly quick and great cornering in the dry. A 4 banger sounds awesome with the right exhaust and a screamer pipe. Personally if someone said to me now they would swap my 300zx with my old MR2 I would snap their arm off. I am not saying the 300zx is worse, it's just the MR2 was more fun. There is a replacement for displacement, a bigger turbo and a good map.
