We use my worshop m8, its where i stripped and reworked my zed. Both paul and I make musical instruments so were pretty handy with the spraying but pauls had quite a lot of experience with high quality car/bike paintwork - he's prob the best painter Ive met, he's very fussy about his work. On the bike I did more of the polishing but paul did the base coat, colour coat and top coats - getting those right is the main bit. If you've got gr8 paint work it makes polishing fairly str8 forward. I spose cos we love the cars we tend to make them as good as can be. Im going to be doing the manual convo on mine soon so I'll be under the car a lot lol then I'll do a few other mechanicals to get her as I want her. Paul and I prefer to work on the cars ourselves cos theres no-one we trust to work on them with the same degree of care. Plus it means we can really get to know the car too. :)

SHE...has just reminded me that #1 sprog is off to uni this year....he'll need a car :rolleyes: Is that my zed fund being spent on her kids already :rolleyes: Not bloody likely :cool: I think he needs to go 'flintstone' stylee for a bit :)

You wait till you see the paint job we've got planned for the zed :) Dark blue base with dark blue or black holographic flake, it'll be subtle but damn sexy :cool:

Just finished paint job on my bike with paul aka RainbowZTT - cheers bud, iou a few :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: Its been done in R1 blue with custom decals we made on my machine :) Its a mint condition '88 Yam fzr1000, loads of new stuff on it :cool: Now its all done.....Im gonna sell it :cry: To sort out my ZED :dance: :nana2:

Thats sounds a bit steep. I got a 20' container in from china in January and it only cost $800 USD shipping from Hong Kong to my unit. Get a few more quotes bud but make sure you can get it priced inc delivery of container to your desination addy, they may be able to negotiate with the hauliers to reduce time and accumulated costs, also if you do it yourself and have any delays you will have demorage charges and they will be MUCHO EXPENSIVO!!! I hope you get it sorted bud.
