do a search for abs diagnostic, you can self test the abs unit and it should let you know whats failing..

no idea how they work but ive got a Profec spec B controller from greddy and although its only got one solenoid works fine on my zed, think you just have to T into a few of the pipes.

interesting reading, but surly the mesh must have some effect? Most things we remove that mr nissan put in (like egr etc) had some function, no matter how small?

hmm interesting reading but doesnt seem that anyone has got quantitative evidence that it does anything or not? Think i might leave this one with mr nissans technical mind and leave the screw as is... (that is until someone proves that it does add power :mac1: )

ive got ebc discs on mine and to be honest the braking isnt that sharp, might be a few other issues but they really are not biteing that hard...

i always wondered what would happen if you removed it, wouldnt fancy running the throttle past its end stop though

so sorting my spoiler brake light and few other bits out found the following loom disconnected, should i reconnect? whats it 4? behind passenger side rear speaker encloser in boot, by the rear seat if u reach through the enclosure. has 3 wires red, brown and yellow with white connector. my zeds uk tt, 99spec rear lights, etc just wondering what this is 4 thanks guys n gals

exactly what i used on my 200sx jay, gave me the performance and cost alot less than "specialist" 300zx decats. Think the thing with owning a zed is its too easy to not be resourceful and look around for upgrades that dont have a premium attached. (We suffer along the same lines as the old Ford cosworths, rear windows for the normal sierra was about half that of the cossy even though they were the same size and the zed seems to be the same for things like exhausts)

My car has an after market momo steering wheel fitted. Thing is, not sure if its on the right boss or what but the wheel feels too far away when i get the seat at a comfortable position for my legs. Now i might just be a freak with short arms and long legs, but was wondering if there is anyway i could safely mod the boss to bring the wheel about an inch or so closer to me? (Thinking some kind of washers or something joined to the boss and the wheel, just incase the boss is the correct one and the wheel still needs moving closer?)

Guys whats the easyest way to access the abs unit? Ive searched and i think im right in saying that as my zed is a 2+2 uk TT it should be drivers side in the boot under the speaker panel? How do i get the panelling out of the way to get access?

think im going to get 1.5 of the super dot4 stuff. Seems the best way to go... whats the difference between dot 4 and 4.1? is there one at all?

surly the respray is kind of dead money in the same way as the auto/manual conversion. Especially when your car is nice and your happy with it, rather than getting a new zed that you dont know the history on?

noticed the super verison at halfords today, still no idea how much is needed for a zed though?

i know what you mean, im trying to decide between shift at will or to try and get a 6speed 350z box into my zed? Still "dead" money but at least it would be something different and a bit of an upgrade.

anyone made any progress running 350z 6speed boxes? Was talk of this a while back but it kind of died out
