Ive been doing a bit of reasearch and it did kind of reflect most of what you said scoops. Not sure i have the cash to go for a hugly recent motor (looking to spend around 4-5K) and fancy the WRC for the intercooler spray bars and the water injection (although i know both are disabled im sure they can be reconnected with minimal work). Not had much luck with the owners club as i cannot get a user name registered and only seem to find non wrc st205 models. Il keep looking but hints n tips welcome. (also i dont seem able to get onto the import-ance website, just me?)

I know il probably wish that i had got another zed to replace my written off one, but im thinking of getting a toyota celica gt4 wrc. Ive always liked the car and fancy a rally type car (thats not a scooby!) Im wondering if it is worth importing one from japan as there were only ever 2500 WRC models made and the uk ones ive found for the most part are not upto much. Anyone able to advise i would be grateful (and im trying to buy back my zed from the salvage people to repair/break)

Sadly not, after mine got totaled in a crash before xmas (not my fault) im thinking of getting a toyota GT4 WRC. Im still sorting things out with the insurance company, but am trying to buy the zed back as well (if for nothing else to break the best bits off it)

Worth the cash? IM looking at picking up a car that is the best part of 300miles from where i live and was thinking i might be better to send them down to look at the car and save me driving all that way to find a sh*t car. Anyone used one as they want the best part of £210 for the inspection (too much cash?) Cheers all

Hi guys, ive been asked to knock a website up for work which im happy with, appart from one section. The guys are doing a charity bike ride accross europe and would like to have a map on the website showing there current position. I have said that clearly they would have to update this at wifi hotspots etc as they go, but im not sure the best way to do it? Would it be to just get them to photoshop a "we are here" icon and re upload this image as they go, or is there a more elegant solution? (Also, as an aside, im struggling to get an image map to work in a photoshop generated html file, anything obvious i might have missed as the image map worked in another html document?).

Id just be happy if i could get my 360 to play region 1 dvds, dont mind buying the games but it is a shame it wont play american movies

scoobynet thanks for the advice, seems like they have snaggs but what car doesnt? I know they are like xr3i's but i dont really fancy the look of the gt4 that much, did think about getting one. Not a fan of the pulsar so much but after a 4x4 type rally esq car i think

guys, anyone know much about the different impreza models as im bloody confused! also anyone thoughts on how long the engines are gd for if maintained corectly (ive seen some at over 100,000 miles so wondering how they will hold up with time). I know this isnt necessarily the right forum for you guys know more about motors than most and as an ex zed owner trust your opinons (and yes i know they are a bit chav but i cannot afford the evo i like!)

xbox 360 and wii seem the best way to me, ps3 just lost all momentum when it failed to be released this year! xbox 360 for the HD dvd experiance and serious games, wii for the more tongue and cheek fun IMHO

anyone got any experiance with these? Seem a decent car in the vr4 style with the same 4x4 system as the evo but alot cheaper.. too good to be true?

Cheeky fooks! offer just arrived £2000!!! no way can you get a good quality UK zed (z32 TT) for that money! Im going to go crazy on the phone tomorrow, just looked on autotrader and no zeds for sale within 100 miles of my house and no uk zeds within 150! All over £2000 and no where near as nice as my old one! Fight will start tomorrow!

also guessing guarenteed value policys wouldnt help if you were in my case where someone else hits your car and rights it off! I have already been looking at autotrader for decent zeds at sensible money to prove what mine should be worth, just incase, but i am expecting an insulting offer! How do you stand on forcing them to include your written off car back in part of the deal

Would these be worth the cash do you think dave? Ive never been through this hasstle before but want to make sure i dont get ripped off by the insurance company! The car isnt driveable/in my possestion at the moment which i guess complicates things somewhat?

Whats the best way to prove to an insurance company the value of my car? I have printed a few links off autotrader website for zeds that are for sale, but anyone got a better idea?

im actually pretty tempted by the dc5. Looks a nice car thats pretty swept up, its not going to be a zed and i know that but this thread has definatly given me some ideas and helped steer my thoughts. Anyone thats owned/drived/got for sale a dc5 input be welcome...

like the look of the integra type r dc5 but really get one for 10K?
