1. I thank that's the issue, i don't know where i'm supposed to laugh half the time with the specials. If it was funny i probably wouldn't need that but it's just not the same.
2. The episodes they show straight after are the best bit! lol Proves how shit the writing is in the new episodes :( I would say watch the episodes back to back without the commercial breaks, it just seems so slow, nothing happens.
3. I've just bought a metro gti mpi, 105bhp, 850 kg, 0-60 in about 8 seconds and does about 40ish mpg driving it quite hard day to day. Insurance was only 30 quid a month for me with no no claims through http://www.bell.co.uk and it's an awesome little car. You can also stick the 1.8vvc straight in and get a 13 second car out of it if the power's not enough :D
4. I think my nan could do a better job :(
5. I don't think even the third bit being awesome would change my mind now
6. As far as i remember 6 was the best series, there were moments of genius in the 8th series but that was about it. Never been as good since rob grant left, the same with most comedy partnerships
7. The only thing i found funny was a rip off of a famous science fiction movie tonight but that was it really. I'll watch the last episode but i have to say, very disappointed :(
8. The first was bad, the second did the thing you should never do to any long running series without giving anything away to the people who haven't seen it. Why couldn't they just pay Rob Grant a stupid amount of money to come back and make it funny again and why not have a laughter track? aarrrgghhh
9. Oh god what have they done
10. pmsl important detail there
11. Jesus, sounds more like a leak of some kind like your exhaust manifold's come loose!
12. No problem buddy, i'll let you know when i make some progress
13. Ooh very nice, if it wasn't for the fact i were looking for the money i'd have asked for a swap  Well at santa pod with the seats out and my carbon bucket seat in I was pulling a 14.7 second quarter mile and keeping up with stock R32s so between the lot of us we reckoned about the 240-250bhp mark but the torque is where it's at and it just pulls and pulls and the sound is awesome through the tubular manifolds :D A vid of me destorying a few TTs at the pod (wet track so crap traction unfortunately :() Particularly proud of beating mike feaney's stage 4 supercharged 350z (it wasn't very well that day)
14. Well it's 2 weeks until i can afford to tax it and get the new number plates made up (i sold the personal plate), get the clutch replaced then i need a zed for japfest, i've booked two track session so realistically it won't be going until the end of May then once it's sold i can get stuck into the V8 properly, get the final order in for parts to finish the engine and i'll be back on the road again :) What did you buy?
15. Cheers buddy :) I've had both an NA and a TT and would always go for NA, sounds better, pulls better and just drives better IMHO :) Just hope i dont have to drop the price, I think 2k is more than reasonable for what it is
16. That's the one, i only want £2k for it, 85k on the clock, a couple of months mot and 6 months tax. Flew through its mot the last 2 years with nothing to do on it apart from put normal seatbelts in. It's non turbo but running TT injectors, unorthodox pulley and lightweight flywheel and it's been fettled by john dixon, pulls like an absolute train from 1500rpm. Even if someone broke it they'd get more back i just need to sell quickly to get the V8 completed and get it off the drive before the other half moves in with her 3 cars
17. Having just watched an old episode straight after you realise how great it was when they both wrote it :( I think they should have shown all three in one go personally
18. It had about 12k spent on it by Jimjitsu, it needs a little tidying up but all in all it's a solid car, a championship winner and fastest 2+2 NA in the Zclub leaderboard, i'm going to miss it :( I'd forgotten just how awesome it sounds :)
19. Without giving anything away to daveyboy i thought it was slow to start but i think the next couple of episodes should be worth watching. Nice to see the lads back together again and Sophie Winkleman is totally hot in every way! :mac1:
20. :smash::hyper: It's taken 3 attempts but finally got the plenum on, solved two leaks and now the car starts on the key. Remind me not to sell the plenum off a zed again! :headvswal Step one's done now to tidy up the bodywork, clean, bit of rewiring inside, fit the working gauges, put in the new clutch and it's ready to sell :hyper: Truly gutted to sell Zena but whoever gets her is going to get a real deal :( More pics to follow as i tidy up and spray the engine bay and polish her up for the last time
21. Wahoo :hyper:
