  1. I had cajun chicken and ribs for lunch, i'm stuffed and my mouth is still watering from looking at that!
  2. Well he's lost out on a sale, silly really because from what you say not alot of people would pay that for it in the first place!
  3. lol, I knew i should have laid off the baby bio
  4. I pulled my only two out of the base of my neck with the root attached with my bare fingernails which bled like hell and hurt for about 2 seconds but then never grew back again - bonus!
  5. Perfect timing to buy my old V8 and get it back in a zed again ;) :p
  6. With living with cats in the house in my life and seeing so many come and go it's horrible when they pass away. Really feel for you buddy, and my thoughts go with him - rest in peace little guy :(
  7. Auto doesn't drop the boost whereas as manual will between gears, down at santa pod the best times are cars with auto/semi-auto gearboxes. In my experience there's nothing to it in real life because my NA beats them
  8. I was going to suggest the best way to do it is put the zed on the road for the summer and use that while you sort out a better car to replace the laguna buddy. There's also that lovely looking mg zr for sale for £1100 in the for sale section that could be a nice little upgrade!
  9. I think my dad just chucked some 95 in the silver one last night and it seems fine - cruised into work today for the first time in it in 3 years and it was heaven :) I wish i could get petrol for 1.31p! It's about 136 round our way :headvswal You can't beat it buddy! Don't get rid of the zed, find a cheap run around that's got tax and test on it and run it into the ground for the year.
  10. Very nice buddy, which camera did you go for?
  11. Um no! Anyway back on topic before we take the poor lad's thread over - so yes the V8 conversion and all the brackets, flanges, pipes and adapters will be up for grabs as a bolt on kit for one lucky person :(
  12. Blimey you're not looking to get another car already are you - you've only had the last one for a couple of weeks
  13. Leather seats, turbos, doors, tailgates, you name it i should have it buddy :) Cheers!
  14. That's the plan buddy, keep the shell, sell the engine then i'm picking up Rigg's TT write off on Tuesday next week and put the engine/loom etc in my car and get it on the road (hopefully before xmas!)
  15. Bless her, well being a nurse i'm sure you'll do a magic job looking after her :D
  16. Nothing yet, i was toying with the idea of whacking a 2.5/3.0 Straight 6 Turbo Diesel out of a 3/5 series into a zed as a daily driver but still bags of torque/a nice 6 cylinder sound and 50+ mpg with BMW reliability
  17. Haha, that's superb - well done lads! :)
  18. Had this problem at the weekend and spent a couple of days chasing it round. Go to each cylinder as it's running and pull each coil pack connector off one at a time and listen. The engine revs drop and you should find removing and refitting one of them will remove the dodgy cylinder. Once you find the engine note drops and there's no missing you'll know you've found the right cylinder. Swap coil packs (obviously with the engine off!) with the neighbouring cylinder and repeat the test with those 2 cylinders. If the cough remains on that cylinder it's either the connector needs cleaning or the injector plug is knackered/dirty. Happy hunting! :)
  19. Well i'm just about to sell up my 6.3 litre Chevy V8 conversion which basically needs the engine taking to a specialist to set up and dyno (Knight Motorsport in Daventry would do a fine job) and all the brackets, manifolds and adapters are made up. The only thing you'd need to do is get the prop lengthened and centre exhaust section lengthened to fit the long wheel base but these are £100 a job. If you're interested in knowing what's involved let me know and i could have 99% of the package you'll need to complete the build with just bolt on goodies. I had it on the road, went to the dyno and hit a couple of problems which needed someone in the know to sort out (rockers loosening off on one side and low oil pressure (which is down to a plug i forgot to fit internally under the oil pump). I've ran out of cash after £17,000 dumped into the project and i'm back in my NA for the time being. I'm not looking for anything near that amount for the kit and it'd be nice to see someone complete it :) My name's Nick and my number's 07791 210051, give me a bell if you're interested buddy.
  20. As far as i remember it has a potentiometer on the speedo you can adjust so i just moved mine and it only came on after 120mph :) Be warned there are 2 and one is the speedo calibration so be careful
  21. ALways loved the look of these cars - i will own one at one point :D
  22. Looks great buddy, well done! :D
  23. I have no idea actually lol I found it through google images :) I know there's also been a drift car running an LS6 though
  24. Happy Birthday buddy, hope you have a great day! :hyper:
