last tim ei saw the monday's was at wembley supporting oasis and after20 mins of the stage being set up and soundchecks they came on and turned the volume up on all the amps. My chest hurt it was awesome lol Looking forward to seeing what they're up to this time :D

No idea what make mine are but they seem to work alright, i don't lose any boost and flutter nicely on lift off on partial boost :D

Well if its just a case of getting the replacement pipes for the top and just unbolting and rebolting the bovs in their place then that's not too bad a job, just don't want to get so far and find they need adapters (as all things do on these flipping cars lol)

any advantages to losing the recirculation?

Mine's smoking white at the moment, think the hard frosts have really hit the cars badly this year. Just found my bov pipes have split too. Better check the pcv next...

What's the difference between the dump valves and recircs? What are the advantages/disadvantages of removing the recircs?

That's exactly what i was thinking, could be a problem :( Because of the location of the dump valve being so close to the throttle body there's not many aftermarket solutions

The car's been running very roughly and idles been up and down when it's cold then seems to clear up once its warmed up and been run round. There's also a slight whining from the left hand side of the car (where i found this) Was fishing round the engine bay for possible causes and found this: First question, would the leak on this cause a poor/variable idle? Second question, where the heck can i get a replacement made up?

I had a clamp loose on one of the hard pipes and for weeks its been been whining when you drive it on boost like a rally car. Thought it was just because the air was colder it was boosting more but turns out it was a simple hose clamp. Quick tighten up and all is well again and the car is quiet as a mouse.

I had my car decatted and a decent enough airfilter fitted and the different was noticable, quicker response, faster spool up on the turbos and quicker top end. Worth the money and it doesn't do any less mpg day to day

The beemer and the zed seem the best options so far. Good value hypercoupe for little money but if i were buying a zed it would have to be manual and uk The Rat is a great car, i've followed its progress the last year or so and i'd snap it up like that if i had 3k but at the moment i have a grand in the bank including my overdraft which is probably going on this civic this weekend, if not it'll go on peach's omega if it's still there when i get the money while i work out what to do with the zed. If i get this job in ashby and i'm making a fair bit of wonger then i might keep the zed, wait till i get a house with a garage then just strip the zed to the floor and rebuild it up to my spec but there's no point rushing things till i know where i stand. At least a smaller second car lets me save a bit of money in the meantime
