I thought of that as i re read what i'd writted :x: doh! :rofl: I'm looking more toward the q45 engine that friday and john dixon are using. Not quite as stonking to look at as your chevy engine or manta's endlebrok powered power plant but should be pretty reliable and more tuneable. Have to say though yours has got the suprise factor of opening the bonnet and seeing the words Chevrolette alongside a beautiful looking V8 block :D

Jesus that's gorgeous :) It's been on the cards for a while with mine to go for a V8 conversion. When i worked out how much it was to do the manual conversion on my engine and the amount i'm spending on it i've started to think about doing this and i will be asking mr friday and mr manta v8 for some advice before i start :D Can't wait to see some vids of your beast running matey :) Well done!

Got the same problem with mine unfortunately, only really came through approaching christmas and now i've found the whole sills are rotten through so i'll be getting them welded up soon and resprayed before i start bolting side skirts on etc
