Seems that all the people who made sniping comments about it being a piss take were wrong. It is genuine just wont happen for a while!! Hopefully never!

I have hjust PX'd my mg ZR 1.4 and will miss it greatly. I bought it brand new and covered 42000 in it without a single problem....no head gasket not even so mucha s a squeak!! I must add that the car was a bit of a free for all with my mates, basically everybody had a go in it and loved it. Not the quickest car in the world but its great if you rev it and fantastic round the twistys!! Mine was quite badly treated by myself and thrashed when I was younger and braver (stupid)!! it took me on many long distance treks for fishing and managed fine with all the extra weight as well. great cars in short. Thanks for the back up mate!!! To be honest I get the impression that this forum is getting a bit nasty....the car has not been thrashed at all and the film company were not exactly hollywood but far from low budget either. For the record the tubs were changed after filming. Sadly for the rest of you who wish to keep your cars the zed is becoming way too cheap and therefore available to 'chavs' and this is mainly due to people selling them at these scandalously low prices!!! This de-values these wonderful vehicles and I'm afraid there are many guilty parties on this very forum. With regards to the pictures I'm sorry but neither my Dad or myself have the IT know how to make them bigger and he did his best for me so keep your opinions to yourselves you spiteful lot. That really upset me. I have spent a lot of money on the car and just don't have time for it anymore as I'm working away. Didn't want to let it go for peanuts for a number of reasons and I also didn't want to break it but thats what will now happen. Another broken Zed. Can't say I didn't try to sell it whole and I feel hurt at some of your comments...god only knows what I've done to deserve them. Rob :confused:

Its just sitting on my parents drive doing nothing ....go and have a look. The mods are cosmetic as well as mechanical!!

Please don't modify a pristine UK car with 55k on it I would have given my right arm for that kind of car when I was looking they are rae as rocking horse sh*t!! Why not swap for my jap spec manual in black thats just had an engine swap and new tubs with 360 bearings from a forum member. Its already got most of the mods that people go for and is very quick!! The zed in the pic at the top of the page is not mine its the N/A they used when they first started filming. The N/A zed belonged to the guy who borrowed mine for the filming as his was sold so they needed a lookalike!!! To put all of your minds at rest the chap with the beemer raced the N/A and not mine. Apparently when mine was put against the cars in the film it pissed all over most of them apart from the NSX and the 650bhp capri....thats right 650bhp. You really are a scinical lot aren't you....the idea is that the london chavs come down and reek havoc amongst the poor Brighton boys who just love their jap cars. Its a new twist on the Romeo and Juliet theme and is set for cinema release. Incedently Carnaby Films are not amateur!!!!! I must admit I was expecting more positive comments :( Time for a drink. Jeez! Good strong cars these zeds. So glad you are all ok....think I'll be leaving mine in the garage for Winter I have trouble with the rear end in the damp let alone ice. Zeds are only steel and glass and stuff that goes wrong all the time anyway, you and your family are what counts. Regards Rob

I hate to put a downer on the whole orange thing but I'm with them at the moment through my mobile contract and I think its shocking. I thought it might be the software I'm using or the hardware so spoke to the professionals and they said loads of people have moaned and are sometimes without for days at a time. thankfully mine just goes down for minutes...or on rare occasion hours. Having said that it could be cos I live in a big apartment complex....does that slow it down if everyone is on at the same time? Who knows Rob
