Thanks Andy useful info as ever. I was considering the 330d but they are so expensive even quite old ones with high mileage....having said that I've heard they go forever and have seen cars with 250000 miles going for good money so what is high mileage on a car like that!!! Rob

Anybody have any experience of these cars I'm currently looking at one on ebay with 73000 on the clock 03 plate...is the car economical? Actually more importantly whats the performance like and any known problems? Its supposed to be chipped to 220bhp as well I've heard this is safe any opinions? Thanks Rob

Just wondered what experience you lot had of the various speed trap detectors out on the market at the moment....been looking at the road angel plus but was wondering if any of the sat nav and detector combos were any good? Be good to hear your views. Rob

Thanks for the intel! It says you get 3 points......does this vary if your speed is excessive or is it always a straight 3 with these cameras? Rob.....clearly worried!!!

Has anyone on here been or know anyone who has been done by these average speed cameras? I have heard mixed reviews on these as to whether they actually get anyone or just let you know the time to the next junction!! Does anyone know if they work at night? Rob

:hurl: Just a quick note.......members on here have in the past put links to zeds on ebay that are from people completely outside the forum thus helping them sell their zeds. At least I have been subscribed and in all honesty was thinking of other members when i posted my link not trying to plug my sale. Am I right? If I had just posted the link not saying it was mine is that acceptable? I guess the car will probably be sold for peanuts to somebody who will again lower the tone of these lovely cars instead of somebody who appreciates them. Rob

It was my car in the film dolphins...it doesn't look much cop I know but my engine and new tubs work well!!!!! I haven't sold the car as sadly it needs a few bits doing to it and I have the money but no time.....ironically. The reason I haven;t sold it is because I can't bear to sell it for peanuts!!!! i will get around to fixing it up just a few niggles left and my suspension is way too hard!! Rob
