The paint job on that car was fantastic. It had dragons and other stuff blown into the paintwork and could only be seen from a very accute angle, move a little and they blended back in and almost dissapeared. Was a very well done motor tbh.

Its suprising how well alfas do handle. As alex said, if he was in zx it would of been different. So just shows that it handles better than the zx does.

has anyone got a diagram of where all the oil hoses go please??. Ive done most of them, but theres one from back of sump on cdrivers side that i need to see where it goes too. The turbo return hoses are connected, as are the feed hoses, but im still left with one on sump thats not connected.

Does sfs hoses do them?

I was ringing for classic insurance. Cant do trade as i dont usually buy n sell cars to get one.

Now that im close to finishing the zx, i've been ringing round for quotes. Ive told them of all mods to car as i want it to be covered properly and all im getting is brick doors. So my question is..... HOW the feck do you all get yours soo cheap????. Am i doing somethingcwrong when being honest about the car?. Im 34 and have nearly 7yrs ncb. The z is a uk manual tt. I valued it at 4k, which i feel in todays market is a fair value. Am i under valueing my car maybe compared to the mods made. Adrian flux want nearly 1k which is just riddiculous. and footman james wont even quote. I know its not as modded as alot of yours on here, so just how do you get these reasonable quotes?.

I tried footman james today and they wouldnt even cover for the alloys and bodykit. Said they would only insure the car if it was standard. so my search continues. Adrian flux wanted £960 to insure it. Ive got 6yrs ncb. Seems abit high to me.

If it makes people happy i could always gladly up the price if it pleases.

Good questions there. The first answer is because the guy has a few different car projects on the go and although he still loves the zx hes just wanting to put his resources into his jetta thats now got a vr6 engine in it. The car is realistically priced to sell considering it will need a little fettling with the bodywork. And for the second question, i agree it could sell for more and dependent on how things work out it might be a little more. The 2k is a rough price on what it will be around. We all know that any zx with even 20k spent on it would do well to get 7k back for it in the best condition going. if i wasnt soo close to finishing mine then i would of thought of keeping it, but i cant afford to run 2( would be nice tho).

He works away and is currently rebuilding the engine for it.

I may be getting a black zx early next year thats running around 450bhp at only 1bar of boost. Seen it run a 12.7 qtr mile at only 0.6bar. This wont be a keeper for me but a car to sell on. Question is.... who will be interested in it if i get it to move it on. would be around the 2k price and would have a full mot put on it. Its a black import with the very rare 1/4 light light up window glazing panels in. Lots of goodies including a AVCR boost controller, huge turbos capable of handling 350bhp each, nismo 555 injectors, lightened flywheel. and has full bodykit(although could do with tidying up). Inside has a one off alcantera/leather finish. Will get some pics up over next few days. havnt got the car yet, but if any genuine interest then that could change. these are the from before it got parked up. As said bodywork will require a little fettling now, but not too much.

For a newly built engine which oil would you guys recommend to get??. Debating on either some realy good oil, or some middle range oil as its gonna be cha.ged after the first 1000miles of running it in.

Most likely to be on hydroulic suspension.
