As i have just recently found out, handbrake shoes. Nissan discontinued them last year.

We sure do, even before they are needed. All part of having a classic car that costs more than modern day cars to run and maintain,lol.

Took apart my rear brakes today as i have a very weak brake and handbrake on drivers side. Definitely found a problem So i rung around and found that handbrake shoes are no longer available as nissan sold there last set to zedworld last year. So 2 options available now, buy the one single used shoe that jeff has left, or reglue the pad i have back on. If i do glue it what glue would do it best? Or long shot, has anyone got some new ones they arent gonna use?

Have ordered a brand new coilpack wiring harness. Wont ever be going near stoneacre again. Hoping it will cure the problem.

I let them know that under no circumstances would they ever touch my car again. Only took it there in first place due to a product recall from seat themselves.

Bulb is fine but no joy on getting this working today. Will have another look at it tommorow.

I think once a car is outof its warranty they are only interested in ripping you off. I got a "free" health care check while it was there and they offered to charge the battery up for me for £14.40. Its not even flat.

I took my seat leon into the main dealer today and was nothing but a huge mistake. The car has now got a misfire so bad its almost undrivable and the garage refuse to aknowledge any fault. Was suppose to have the coilpacks replaced of which they did'nt say they havent done as they are fine and 2 of them arn't genuine seat ones. How can they of checked a coilpack when they claim they havent removed any of them from the car. Soo peeved off as now ive gotta fix there problem.

Cheers eggs. Will check this today. I take it that it wouldnt effect the drivers side side lights if this earth was oose as that still works fine.

Having a problem with the drivers side front indicator. Its decided to stop working. Not the first time its happened bit it usually fixes itself after a couple of taps. Only this time its gone off and staying off. So does anyone know of the earthing points for any of the indicators loom please as im sure its gonna be a bad connection. Unfortunatley it decided to stop working 1hr before mot time(so sadly failed).

Have you got a instruction manual for it?

No bookwork with car. Seat can do it but they want £23 for it and im waiting for logbook to come back. Hoping someone knows how to do a code generator for it.

Having a little problem with a car radio. When i bought my seat leon it had a crappy cd radio fitted, but came with the original radio too. I want to put it back in but its locked out and the code didnt come with the car. Does anyone know how to find the code please? So i can refit it asap. Thankyou.

Have seen a meguiares detaling pack on ebay for £39. Thinking of trying some of that.

Found a place local to me, but at £239.00 i think i'll do it myself bit at a time.

After getting myself a tidy little daily driver im wanting to try tidy it up as good as it can be. Its in very good condition already but could do with all the swirl marks removing from the paint and could do with a full valet. Has anyone had this done recently and could give a good guide pricewise to how much it is to have it all cleaned up to being almost as new. Or maybe prices of the paintwork doing?
