i should be able to make it
  4. Jack car up, remove the under shield that protects the auxilary belts, you then need to remove the lower fan cowling, (its held in with 3 clip) and unscrew the two screws holding the main cowling on. Then put a bucket under the drain plug and undo that, remove the rad cap to aid in draining once drained remove the lower rad pipe and the upper rad pipe, also remove the retaining brackets. remove the two screws holding the upper radiator cowling in place and pull all of that out, then you just have to pull the rad out, there are two rubber gromets that the rad sits in, be sure that you don't lose those, also when pulling the rad up it may catch on the intercooler pipes, just give it a wiggle :) it takes around 30 minutes to drain and remove.
  5. you pay the postmane
  6. Age isn't a factor, I am 22 and had my zed since i was 20 and have never lost control of the back end. (had it out on a few occasions) Just take it easy mate, these cars are powerful and will bite you if you dont respect that. good luck getting it sorted

  17. are you going to remoe the plenum yourself?
  18. MTL is quite capable of taking his engine out fixing it and putting it back in one weekend, the boy most certainly has balls, I think he is even planning on rebuilding his slushbox and turbos himself
  19. Al has shut up shop, sold to a bloke called graeme, hae you used al before? he mentioned a 200sx where he had to replumb in the water lines after it came back from SE?
  20. yup defiently not woth taking something on if you arnt confident, when i first had my zed i got a garage to change the rad cowling.... I do know my limits though, new clutch is coming soon and that will be done at a garage.
  21. what does the area under the curve represent though?
  22. I changed my water pump and only have one cut :D, several burns from bleeding the rad though (i have soft skin lol) I think its worth doing it your self if you have the correct tools and some know how and someone who's done it before on the end of the phone :D for me its not about saving money but more about doing it yourself.
