  12. A new tightened PCV hose cured my smoke problem on idle (thanks SMW1 :D :D :D) After anyone works on my car I check all of the connectors and various fill points, on a few occasions i've caught problems.

  14. I leave mine off, i like the feeling of space personally, id rather enjoy the car and have a slightly faded interiour (which mine isnt due to correct leather treatment) than not enjoy the car.

    average around 20mpg I did a motorway run up to thor racing, I averaged 14mpg over a distance on 176 miles.
  16. i really only damaged mine by removing them, as they sliped slightly when one side was let down, of course you have to ensure that no damage is being caused or that they havnt slipped at all which could be nasty if you ar eunder it.
  17. one of my sills is pretty damaged from jacking, also a dent under the car. had mine on stands all weekend, just need some new underseal in one place,

Baggins for supplying water pump MTL, Andyduff and SMW1 (also for discovering leak) for words of encouragemnet and advise. replaced my water pump yesterday, its a bit of a pain to do but I have no coolant leaks at now :) Probably took around 9 hours in all, needed a good toolbox, luckily my dad seems to have everything somewhere in the garage.
  19. not worth the risk in my car :) few weeks time ill be at brandshatch in a single seater AUDI, that will be worth it :D

  22. I sent my watch off to be serviced about a year ago, that cost £100 and when it came back after 6 weeks I was so used to not wearing it that I havnt worn it since :S more money thrown away............
