So guys i did a compression test on cylinder on with throttle fully open got over 150 psi.That you guys think?

Yea it isnt smokey at all,since i got the car i would say i havent put 200 miles on the clock,also i removed the fuel pump fuse and turned the engine to remove the petrol and the piston shot the petrol out if that makes any difference,well i have a compression tester so guess that is what i will try next

Yea i was wondering that myself,that why i did another ohms test again.Dont know what is goin on.No mate it is the only one as i pluged out the 2-6 of the coil pak conectors and the engine cut back on all of them bar cylinder 1:helpsmilie:

Also just did another ohms test got 12.8

Hi mate i also got a spare plug which i tested using the coil pak(gave my self a nice shock) and is working perfectly and put it in,still no joy.is there any way that i can test the voltage on the connector that plugs into the injector.I have cleaned it but still not sure if it is sending power to the injector.

So i am back to square 1 again,the car is starting no problem i take the plug of the coil pack to cylinder 1,the engine doesnt knock back at all.OMG what is goin on.

Guys quick so,i have the injector taken out and put back in again,should i leave the plug out of cylinder 1 to get rid of excess petrol?Thanks

Ok thanks mate,i will remove it,should i put the o ring of my old injector on it

So guys i took out the plug turned the crank by hand and when turning the crank cylinder 1 spits out petrol out of the cylinder

I had the two rings on the injector when i installed it.Also i tested the injector and i got 12.8 ohms

Yea i can turn it by hand,but when i tryed first it was hard to and i could hear a hissing,the hissing stopped and i could turn it by hand no problem

Yes there is no leaking what so ever.Also yes the injector is right down and i put the injector cap back on and tightned it down.

Hi all i have a problem after installing a second hand injector,so i put in the injector on injector 1 tightned everything up turned on the ignition for the fuel pump to kick in ,then tryed to started the car and after 1 second the engine wouldnt turn,first i thought the timing belt jumped a cog so i took out the rad and turned the crank by hand and everything is free,but while trying to turn it first crank seemed very tight and i could hear a hissing coming from one of the injectors.Has anyone any input on what it could be.I have one of the dump valves off would this make any difference.Any advise would be fantastic.Also the car was runinng fine untill i put in the new injector.Thanks lads

OHHHHHHHHHHHH i didnt know you needed to bleed it at the clutch piping connector i was bleeding it at the slave cylinder only

i guys,i have just a quick question.I installed a new clutch slave cylinder today,but when i bleed the clutch,i still have nearly no pressure(i installed a new master cylinder 3 years ago).Do i need the car started to get pressure to the clutch,as i c the 300zx has a clutch booster.Also i cant start the car as i am waiting on a new injector and i have the old one out.Any help would be great.Thanks

Guys so can i test the voltage goin into the injector plug from the car with the multimeter?what should i get getting(what i mean is taking the plug of the injector)

No mate i didnt,i dont have a multimeter to hand,i ordered one yesterday

Ah ok no probs mate,also i just tryed the screwdriver trick on the injectors,there is positive ticking from all cylinders but nothing from cylinder 1

So i cleaned the connections,as you said mate they were green,still no joy.Can i check the power connection from the car goin into the the injector,what should i be getting?Thanks
