  1. IMHO, one of the nicest flipped paints I've seen is Alfa Romeo's Nuvola blue...ignore the cars....but look at the paint. It's so easy on the eye. There's a local R33 GTR sprayed this colour and it looks absolutely stunning. Nice blue with a subtle gold flip to it. Photoshopped Z... I'd love to see this done with a subtle kit on it. IE, Kaminari rear bumper, stillen sizes, 99-spec front etc.
  2. No no no, flake is completely different...and generally pretty cheesy. Flipped paint, pearl, metallic, kandy, flake etc are all different. Steer clear of metaflake unless you want your car to look like a fairground ride.
  3. IMHO Karl. Stealth is where it's at!
  4. ...and it's better than the Vielside?? You'll have to make some sound clips mate. Not being bias, but other than the B&B exhaust, I've never heard a nicer sounding one.
  5. I think it was called 'Mystic green'...anyway, found a photo...
  6. Nissan used to do a really cool Chameleon paint. Not sure it would suit the Z, I think a more bluey purple would...anyway, can't remember what it was called, but late K11 Micras and late P11 model Primeras.
  7. Why are you selling it bud??? How much for out of interest?
  8. I think there are two types of bumper support bars. There's the single peice and the twin peice. I can't find any photos at the moment, but I've seen some Zs with 2 small bumper bars. Basically two brackets that bolt to the same location and the main bumper bar.
  9. Yeah sure, how's this?
  10. Agreed, least they are not Ferrari badges though! LOL Cars covered in stickers invariably look crap, unless they are in a full race livery.
  11. Token picture for you all, just so as not to be suicidal when looking in here...
  12. ...oh dear...it's got under car neons.... :wack:
  13. What do you reckon it's worth then? Without the stereo, I'd say about £1,500 - £2k? It's an N/A auto, so the least desireable model. Import-ance is selling a beautiful pearl white TT Manual (series 2 or3 I think) for less than the asking price of this!
  14. This has been posted up before and it isn't anyone's on here. The most overpriced N/A Z I've ever seen, but it was £7,000 last week!!! It looks tidy and reasonably nice, albeit from the shipping list, steering wheel cover, fire-escape floor mats and rear lights.
  15. I hope for the Sergey Brodov's sake, his prize didn't look like this.
  16. Hmmmmmm....conflicting reports... OE bushes are stupid price though, so that option is almost not there.
  17. Does anyone know roughly what power rating the new BMW HIDs are? They seem noticeably brighter and more distinctive than other HID equipped cars and want the same/similar rating HIDs for my Z. Reason I ask is because I've seen some HID equipped cars which have seemed somewhat dim in comparison. I understand that the earlier cars fitted with them were of a less powerful rating, some 4,000 - 5,000k. I know typically, that 5,000k is the purest and most effective HID rating as it's the most effective. But want a slight blue tinge. Don't want to go much over 6,000k really as it's pointless. HIDs become less effective at much over 5,000k anyway. 8,000k is just for bling. Thanks
  18. I want to replace mine. Looked at the collars, but would prefer to do the job properly really. Will most likely get some PU bushes from driftworks....although not sure if PU is going to be too firm. I do want to PU most of the bushes on my Z given time.
  19. BTW, take ALL your split rim needs here....http://www.juswheels.co.uk Mark did an excellent job of mine.....
  20. Spilt rims? Are they molten down or something?
