  1. Not my cuppa tea I'm afraid. Looks nasty, wheels especially...although shed loads of work has gone into it.
  2. I can almost vouch for that in saying that they probably will!...or at least make some sarcastic apology.
  3. That's odd. 2 adverts for the same car. One being at £7,000 still. Different seller too...?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-300zx_W0QQitemZ230082305773QQihZ013QQcategoryZ18238QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item230082305773
  4. ....*sorry, was meant to say 'speed kills tried to lobby parliment to get the BBC to take it off the air'.
  5. Agreed. The 'speed kills' brigade stick their oar in every episode. I'm pretty sure it was them that tried to lobby the BBC to take it off the air. Chunts!
  6. No, the main issue was from a brain injury society who thought Clarkson's words were offensive rather than the 'speeding is dangerous' one.
  7. I actually thought those comments made by Clarkson were hilarious....I'm naughty aren't I. :(
  8. Some people just take things waaayyyyyyyy too seriously. I kinda thought this might happen. Sad that it did.
  9. Junk the autobox and fit a manual. :) Sorry to hear of your woes.
  10. I know it's a bit of a shame for a vehicle that was so far ahead of its time and was really recognised as very very good car when it came out.
  11. Wasn't intending to sound insulting bud. It's the price they tend to go for. £1500 - £2000. IE, there's a lovely example going on here at the moment which is an N/A manual and that's up for £1,400.
  12. Those rims are feckin stunning. Anyone know what make they are? They looks similar to BBS LMs...another favourite of mine.
  13. It used to be....it's lost its way a bit unfortunately. Seem to drag up a car with a set of aftermarket rims on it and take the piss.
  14. Hideously loud by the sounds of it!
  15. A blow over basicially is just a repaint of the visual panels.
  16. Totally agree with the above. Longlife/Powerflow exhausts are for Saxos. Quality and materials are poor. IMHO Karl, book your car in at Stealth Systems in Southampton. They use a better quality of stainless steel and their workmanship, what I've seen is very good. There are always big power Jap cars in their workshop.
  17. Actual ones look more fresh and bright...but still a good choice none the less. :)
  18. Arrrrrrrr. A man who understands my ideas. Minimising colours and shapes is the best way to make things more pleasing to the eye IMHO.
  19. Anyone? Or the Merc ones..... RichardSmith?
  20. Wrong shifter in there completely anyway. ;)
  21. For a full respray...ie colour change including door shuts, engine bay, windows and panels off etc...I'd budget for at least £4k - £5k and rising dependant up job/paint etc. Cheap, but reasonable blow overs can be had for about £1000. Much less, unless mate's rates, would be wary about it. A decent blow over with trim removed, like mine, cost about £3,500...but I also had other stuff done to mine, like 2 days spent sanding all the nasty finish off the bumpers, scimming the tailgate and fitted a spoiler... Saying that though, I stripped the car back before hand though, so saved about a day's labour. Kandy is quite expensive as it's a 3 stage paint, bit like pearl so you could add quite a bit on to that.
  22. One of the nicest Z interiors I've seen I think. Looks like it came like that rather than 'it looks like a retrim'. Well done mate. Good work.
