  1. Might be saveable mate. If all the critical points measure up, then by the looks of it, a new front strut wishbone, rack and sundries, wheel, wing and front bumper.....fingers crossed erh! Hope you gave the pedestrians a telling off!
  2. I really really hope you can get that fixed. To add, when I saw the title of the thread on the main forum with your name under it, my heart sankk
  3. Oh no!! Mate that's terrible. You're ok which is the main thing. Such a shame though. A very low mileage UK Z in imaculate condition too. :(
  4. Some bloke from Nottingham with a yellow Z I guess. :wack: Can you guess....I'm bored...it's raining and no fukker wants to go out tonight!
  5. TBH Steve, I think that's fine to do that. I think you being good sending them out without payment. But as with all things, it takes time for interest to pick up. Pre-payment only IMHO.
  6. I like the XJS, just not the Lister built one (looks wise)...well, the XJR-S is nice anyway..
  7. I wouldn't buy it, far nicer things to spend £35k on. But it is a nice bit of kit, if a little ugly. Number plate is spot on (excuse the awful pun) The TWR version looks far nicer.
  8. This is pathetic. Come guys....it's not like you're all students scrimping and saving to run your B reg Fiat Unos!! Strange that Karl was apparently embarrased about what happened to his car and didn't want anyone knowing, yet 6 months down the road, he's still not paid for his calender and his name is up in lights. Same goes for the other two. Can't believe how many times this has been requested.
  9. For the cost of a set of Wiseco forged pistons from the US which are about $600 or something silly like that, I'd think about doing that. It's one thing I wished I'd have gone for when I did mine. Although I'll never be taking mine above 14PSi, it makes the engine a bit more indestructible. :) Over 400bhp I'd want forged pistons.
  10. Looks lovely mate! Really liking that. 99-spec tail lights and it'll be perfect. :D
  11. You can get them here.... http://www.kitchenkit.co.uk/shop/home.php?cat=78&MMCF_Adwords
  12. That's it, it's on a public highway. Any vehicle on a public highway must be legal, which involves taxing, MOTing and insuring the vehicle.
  13. See above ^^^ if your car catches fire and damages property such as road surfaces or other property, then you are liable.
  14. Pretty sure that's incorrect Saz. Any vehicle parked on public land must have insurance afaik as well as tax and MOT. If the car bursts into flames and distroyes someone else's property without it being driven then you're shafted.
  15. 'Micra Sport'...gotta check me out that little lot! LOL I'll try and come along on the Saturday or the Sunday or both. Need to find a friendly Zedder locally to the area so I can spent a few hours cleaning my unit.
  16. Technically you do as the insurance is void.
  17. Up to £1000 and/or they have the right to take the car away to be crushed.
  18. TSW Venoms???? Oh dear. Especially in 16" format. Personally would stick OEM UK spec wheels on which have wider rears. JDM cars have equal width wheels and tyres all round regardless of engine designation. But don't look half as good as UK rims with the lightly dished and wider rear wheels.
  19. The many faces of John "fat turd" Prescott!.... John Prescott = Anus :wack:
  20. I like the plate. Small and neat. Seen far far more tacky stuff on Zs than small motorbike number plates.
  21. US radio frequencies are out of range of UK frequencies...ie, US radio stations are between something like 107 and 117 , Japanese are at the lower end of the spectrum which is why you can only get radio 2 on your imported Japanese radios. Now; you can buy frequency expanders, which change the range in the frequency the radio is looking at. But with Japanese radios, they don't come with RDS, I don't even think that US radio stations transmit in RDS either, so the non-EU Pioneer models will not have this feature built into them. So you won't be able to tell what station you are listening to, other than the HU displaying the frequency.

Faster, sounds nicer, get's 10 times as many looks, but will be twice as expensive to run/own.
  23. Standard tubs can cope with about 16 or 17PSi of boost before they become inefficient and they don't have 360 degree bearings. If you're not intending on doing anything more than fitting 1mm boost jets and a new a chip, then standard recon turbos will cope fine. BUT, if you have the option to upgrade to 360 degree bearings for only £100 the pair, then do it! It's peanuts!
  24. Yup, you can drive legally to a pre-booked MOT without Tax. http://www.dumfriesandgalloway.police.uk/faqs/motoring/car_tax.htm
