Not sure why another event was planned the previous week. Everyone raves about JAE, then something else gets sorted at Billing the week before....which is in the same location, ie 3 and a half hours drive from here. Would have been good if Zclub could have had their 30th at JAE maybe? I dunno. I'm sticking with JAE so far. Providing I can get away and the weather is good. Maybe the number is far greater? Maybe some 300zx.co.uk people will be with the Zclub and won't put their names down here?

You're sucking water into the filter then. I remember a chap on here (Royal) had the same problems with his Z in heavy rain. Safety boosting and juddering. Try refitting the original airbox to see if it makes any difference.

You have to try and get it back on the road mate. It's Zs like yours IMHO that keep the car so worthy.

Wouldn't have thought you'd need to drop the engine bud. Unless there's serious structural damage, you should be able to get it done in situ.
