  1. Sounds more like a mica finish then, I think that's what they call it. Bit like a pearl I think. Sounds nice mate. A purple fleck in a black is cool.
  2. The nose panel, bonnet, stickers and rear spoiler aren't my taste at all. But the rest is great.
  3. Certainly is. It's not garish and too in your face, it's neat and looks like it could have been built that way.
  4. I really like it. With an IMPUL front bumper and an M30Z rear spoiler it would be totally perfect. :)
  5. ...don't like his modified rear bumper. Prefer the original Beet version.
  6. Beet kit. Been posted on here quite a few times before. One of the nicest looking wide arch kits. Prefer it over the Strosek.
  7. Either have a toss before going to the beach or I just sunbathe face down. Getting sand out your helm is no laughing matter though! LOL
  8. Don't go metaflake Nick please don't. Metaflake looks absolutely apaulling. Like a tacky fairground ride. Car is cool though. Love the rear spoiler! Set of 19" wheelmania vortex rims would finish that off a treat! Much nicer than some Max Power inspired paint job! Pearl, candy, metallic and 'some' flip paints look good, metaflake is truely vile.
  9. PS., the best car I ever had for abusing/flood driving was also the worst car I've ever owned. MK3 Golf which I absolutely loathed. I tried to kill, but it would never die! Only paid £100. I even drove it through a river....and the fukker carried on running!!
  10. Time to get an old banger as a daily runner. Something like a MK3 Astra will run fully submerged with little issue to its knife and fork engine! Fukkkk knows why I bought a French car as a daily driver, they're even worse. You always see, when it floods, the roads littered with french cars due to their crappy intake design.
  11. Likely hood is you've got hydrolock and bent a rod or two. Take the plugs out and try to spin the engine.
  12. IMHO, Fax machines should all be banned and trashed! lol Good price though.
  13. Tha could be nice if the front end was designed nicely...the rest is ok, kind of like a bastard crossbreed of an E-type Jag and AC Cobra.
  14. http://www.motester.co.uk/cog.html
  15. I like Yampiedog's sig....still not worked out what it is yet...
  16. The bastard lives in France of which I just purely jelous of!
  17. Early ones came with almost nothing, not even PAS and questionable build quality. They are starting to look tatty now. Rust is now appearing on those models. As above, if you can stretch to the TF model, they are much nicer. But as with all 16v Rover engines, keep an eye on the oil for signs of head gasket failure. Tappets can start to make a bit of a din on these too if not properly maintained. MX-5 is a better handling car and much better built, but I actually prefer the look of the MGTF. Nice looking little car and good fun to drive.
  18. I am suprised Bristol are still in business to be honest. The above is their first new model in about 20 years and it's hideous. I've seen 1 on the road actually. But that's only adding to the 2 other Bristol models I've ever seen on the road in my life, the Brigand and that looks across between a 70s Rolls Royce Camargue, a Rover SDi and an armchair and I live 10 miles from where they are made! LOL
  19. Fantastic car!!!!!!! HRE wheels too! Things couldn't get better really...although I do prefer the Series 1 Viper. Still a wicked car though! That's like saying you'd never want to win the national lottery! Yeah but look at it.... :hurl:
  20. PMSL! Little things....I love that, always brings a smile to my face.
  21. Thanks mate. Very much appreciated.
  22. Oh mate, that's an honourable thing to say. I might just take you up on that offer. :)
  23. You're quite close to Billing aren't you? I am changing my mind towards Billing now. Just hoping I can get off work ok.
  24. I am at a loss as to what to do now. I can see that the Zclub event would be more 'my thing' than JAE as JAE sounds like it appeals to the kruuzeers and MaxyP types than the more traditionalist Zclub at Billing.
