  1. For a really good finish depending on how deep your paint is. Wet sand (2k or 3k) > Poorboys SSR polish on a rotary > Nattys blue (glaze). Stand back and admire. :)
  2. Here you go, found it.... http://www.metalmate.info
  3. They are both polishes as opposed to waxes/sealants, so maybe I'm not fully answering your question. I've never put a sealant on mine as they can dull the metal. The Belgom has a slightly deeper cut. So if they've just been done, you could use the Brilliant. It polishes so finely that it'll repel a lot more water than just cutting with a paste. Something I did look at putting on, that's supposed to be quite good is something called Metal Mate. I can't find any information about it now. It's something I found a few years ago and it's a clear solution you wipe on, allow to dry and that's it, the top layer of metal is protected by a thin clear, but breathable weather resitant film. I think it was called metal mate, but I can't remember. There are other types of wheel sealant about, but not sure if these are suitable for bare metal, more for the painted/powder coated wheel department.
  4. Yes, Only 2 types. With side marker and without side marker (for the North American domestic cars).
  5. Mmmm, Hartcliffe!
  6. Fraud? I am sure the fine with be more than £1000 if that gets found out about.
  7. Yeah, those two DVDs I'm waiting on, Malibu Mounds and Naked Female Mud wrestling ver. 9. Still not seen hide or whisker of them.
  8. ...what's more shocking are the yahoo cars for sale on the bottom right hand corner. Tata Safari (SUV)....with, wait for it, a 2.0TDi producing an earth shattering 90bhp. WTF can do you with 90bhp in one of those?!? Even cars with 90bhp are slow!
  9. I ran with the old paper licence until the photo licence was made mandatory. I've only had my photo licence since 2004, so have another 6 years left on mine. Still, it's cheaper than getting a new passport! I was lucky that I avoided replacing mine with the micro-chipped ones which were twice the price of the old ones.
  10. I use 'Brilliant' polish on mine. But use Autosol or Belgom Alu as a first stage. Brilliant is a much finer cut and gives a deeper shine. I use that as a final stage. My wheels still look as good as they did when they were refurbed over 2 years ago.
  11. No worries. looks very clean and tidy. Not normally a fan of gold wheels either, but they work well with they grey on the car.
  12. I'd call the 99-front end a stock one. It's not aftermarket. It's a part originally designed by Nissan for the car in production. The lines flow, the recess is there. Something you loose with aftermarket bumpers.
  13. I've only just seen this. Have to say it's a mammoth difference. So glad you got rid of the dreadful light-brows. Really looks clean and slick. Glad you decided not to stick with the Strosek too, as, unless you have the rest of the kit, it doesn't look complete.
  14. 'Stage 1 tune'. lol As quoted by tmttp..
  15. Rear lights actually add BHP. It now goes so fast as it doesn't want anyone to see its arse as it now looks minging. lol
  16. I was expecting a Caravan, but what I see is so much worse.... ;) Not the 350s biggest fan. It's pretty good for what it is and looks pretty sharp, but I'd never have one. It's no real sustitute for the Z32, in both the looks and performance department. I've seen some pretty mental Z33s when in the US and whilst they look very good and are very quick, they just don't have the appeal or the presence of the Z32.
  17. Momo do the Volante which isn't bad.... Can't remember the name of this one, but again, it's a Momo, came fitted standard to a lot of Japanese cars. Then there's this, Nissan's own fitted Nismo/Momo airbag wheel fitted to some Import 350Zs. I think R34s were fitted with them too. Nardi also fitted airbag wheels to RX-7s I think.
  18. What, after market airbag wheels?
  19. I'd keep that one. There aren't many airbag equipped Z32s in the UK. I like the look of the airbag wheel too, makes it look a little more modern. Stock early wheels don't look that great. I currently have a Momo 'Race'. It came on the car when I bought it, I quite like it, feels good, is the right size, but not sure if it's the look I'm after. I'm really partial to these two and might replace with either at some point in the future. The old Nardi Torino wheel which came fitted to some Impreza models. Or the Momo Daytona. Both are a little more in-keeping with the car's age/looks as opposed to some of the horrors you can get now.
  20. Christ, never seen those before, would rather fit wooden struts to my car. Look how thin those metal flanges are!
  21. Here's the chap that bought it. I guess he must have pawned his Mum's jewellery. Probably just weighed her rack of creole earrings in at the local scrap yard or something, and used to social security from his 14 year old girlfriend's kids.
