Replacement Primera? Steve-300zx...you know if there will be one?
Nothing crap about this. Good cars at the time, pretty reasonable now. I always liked the eGT P10. Almeras were bland as a pair of moccasins, P12s had an interesting dash, but the car was ugly.. This is an SRi, but the eGT looks similar. The SR20 was fitted to it and it was a pretty good car. Poverty spec examples look boring, but so do poverty spec examples of most other mainstream saloons.

The car already comes with multi-link suspension. Tein what? Springs? Coilovers?

Money spent so far.
I don't keep notes on what I've spent. I did. But I don't really care now. If I did I think I'd cry, but hell, I gotta spend my money on something.

Replacement Primera? Steve-300zx...you know if there will be one?
I know Nissan axed the P12 as sales slumped, but it was once their main seller in the mid 90s when the car looked quite good. I had heard that Nissan may be bringing back some kind of intermediate sized car. Maybe based on the US Altima/Maxima? Is there any truth behind this? Unfortunately, Nissan have a huge gap between the Micra/Note/Qashqai sized cars and their big SUVs. Is the geriatric Almera still available or a replacement being planned? Is the Qashqai the replacement for that...although Nissan call it a cross-over?

Holiday prices
I have noticed flight prices on long haul flights go up by about 1/4 - 1/3 over last year. I try and avoid doing 'package' holidays anyway and always make my own last minute plans. But that's just me.

Driving Licence Expires???
Yes, because you still have to have a paper suppliment even with a photocard licence. If you apply for a replacement, you'll not get a replacement original. You'll get a replacement suppliment and you'll be asked to apply for a photocard licence.

*****cks is it! LOL, I don't drink lager, hate the stuff, but I know a double vodka and coke is just shy of a fiver. Have four of those and that's a reasonable drive in the Z!

Nope, beautiful day out there today (rarity in the UK). I've just been for a nice drive in the Z. First decent drive in nearly a month....first dry weekend in nearly a month! LOL Car ran as well as it always does.

Petrol costs ???????????
TT is actually slightly better than an NA on a good motorway run providing you keep the turbos in vacuum as much as you can. NA has different final drive (dif) and is also a higher compression engine.

Petrol costs ???????????
LOL, do NOT buy a Z if you're concerned about fuel costs. £10 will barely move the needle off the red. You need to be in a different mind-set when owning a Z. You get in it and enjoy it rather than worry if £30 worth of fuel will see you to the end of the week.

Why is road construction/repair so slow in this country?
Before I get on with it, this isn't a moan at construction workers/engineers, more at the investment and planning/managment that the goverment doesn't do. Why does it take so long to do the simplest of things, like resurfacing a road? Yes, I know it's costly and it's not as easy as 'all that'. But why when I go overseas, do other countries seem to be able to get it done in a really short space of time? Before I went on holiday, which was 3 weeks ago, the main road from Portishead to Clevedon road was shut for resurfacing, it's still closed now, not just that, but the authorities decided that it would also be a really good idea to resurface part of the M5 heading over the Avonmouth flyover. So ALL the traffic in Portishead now takes over an hour to get to the motorway in the mornings (3 long mile!). That's not the real issue, but for the same period of time, workers have been on the flyover for 3 weeks, going onto four. What have they done so far, they've removed about 1/4 of the surface in prep for new tarmac. 3 weeks it's taken to do that! All the while, traffic queues for about 5 miles in either direction while the lane restrictions are in place. About 2 years ago, they decided to widen part of that motorway too, it's made things worse as it's created a bottleneck, but even that took nearly a year to do! A year!!!???? Why can France have almost no roadworks, no road closures and build the Millau Viaduct in 4 years, the biggest bridge in France and the tallest in the world and it takes the UK road construction industry to add a mile of additional lane to the M5 nearly a year!? When I was in SoCal a few weeks ago, they resurfaced a dual carriageway stretching about 2 miles close to my mate's house, it took them 3 days!!!!! If that was in the UK, it would have been closed for about a month! /rant

wheel fitment
350Z anniversary wheels. This is what I drove at MWZF is Oklahoma a few weeks ago. It's a friend's car from the US forum and looks amazing with them on. I took these photos on show day on Tulsa bridge. :)

wheel fitment
Most big RWD Japanese sports cars. RX-7s, Skylines, 350z, Soarer, Supras, GTOs. Just keep an eye out for PCD (5 x 114), bore size...might vary slightly, but not by much, wheel width and offset.

Collinite - Anyone used it?
Just ordered some 476. I am going to rotary my car sometime over the next week with a bit of light wet sanding in places. Wondering if anyone's used 476? It's the first Collinite product I've ordered. I know it's not going to offer as wet of a look as a glaze, but wondering if it's still good for a similar effect? I understand it's very good wax and its protection lasts for months....on my car, that'll probably be for years! LOL I am sure Peach has used it.
