  1. Thanks Steve. Interesting that. On a side note, I think if Nissan had designed an attractive supermini, it might have sold more? The mechanicals, as always are good.
  2. Stupid idea. I hate idling engines. Whilst I agree with switching off if you're stationary for periods of time. I too sometimes switch my engine off when stuck in traffic for periods of time, or parked or whatever, but sometimes, you just can't foresee how long you can be stationary. Would be nice to see encouragement rather than threat. It seems that's the only way council/government can operate these days.
  3. I saw the wheels and thought of yours Lisa....then thought, oh, it's black! 2+2 doesn't always make 4; excuse the terrible numerical pun.
  4. Welcome to the land of the hilariously unfunny! :duffer:
  5. What a crock of shit. Now here's what the thread should have contained. Before anyone asks, he walked away
  6. Funny you should say that....... :wack:
  7. I love the bit where he says "Full disk brakes, back and front" f*ckingWOW!!
  8. Left him the following message....
  9. Nope, the kit I've seen comes as a twin pack. I was quoted by South West Tyres as they sell it over the counter.
  10. Could be the master cylinder is breaking down. I think the alloy calipers' floating mech have steel liners for the pistons...I maybe wrong, leading to the alluminium deposits being caused from the MS? But are you sure they are alluminium deposits rather than recent steel deposits?
  11. Mate, it's £20 for the 2 bottles which will do 4 wheels. I think your mate is getting his wires crossed?
  12. For the cost of them, personally, I'd rather buy a set of flat bolts. The load then becomes evently distributed between the taper of the bolt and the chamfer on the wheel. PS, I'd tell him to get rid of the car rather than faff around with the wheel bolts! LOL ;)
  13. True, but if I had one as new as an R-reg one, I'd want it to look like it was from that year. Lovely Z never the less. Nice to see someone put UK wheels on a JDM car too. UK stockers do look good when clean.
  14. As nice as the silver slick top is, it has the wrong spoiler on it for the year. The spoiler wasn't fitted to Zs after 95. Good photos and nice turnout. :)
  15. Not at that price. You can't even buy them from the states for that money.
  16. Get a genuine Nissan water pump. I've seen OEM and cheapo pattern waterpumps side by side and the veins/fins on it are much smaller and spaced further apart than on the stock ones. Last thing you want to do is skimp on the cooling system. Genuine ones are about the £60 mark, so not epic money.
  17. Your girlfriend sounds spot on! She's saved you having to change your user name to seriouslyuncooldel....:wack:
  18. ....but it's your car.....! If you want to fit automotive detritus to it, then go for it! :)
  19. Oh dear oh dear.....NASTY Sunstrips are the ultimate chav car accessory. Like seat belt harness pads, undercar neons, LED washer jets, chrome wiper arms etc etc etc etc ad infinitum etc etc etc....
